Perfect cabin getaway!!
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was cozy and comfortable, and in the most peaceful setting. Would definitely go back! The owners were friendly and all their personal touches made it very special. Some good restaurants nearby and close to some great scenic areas.

Perfect location
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cabin was perfectly located right off the White River for Trout fishing, minutes from Blanchard Springs Recreation Area & Caverns...a must see, and the charming town of Mountain View. Perfect cabin for watching deer at dawn and dusk, and star gazing at night. The cabin had everything we needed, the beds were great and we loved sitting on covered porch when it rained. The owners are just up the hill and very responsive if you need anything. A wonderful cabin for feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere with out being completely isolated.

Great for family!
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was amazing. Well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The washer and dryer are great when you have kids and you go hiking in the summer heat! We have 3 boys (11,9, & 7) with 2 adults and we were very comfortable. The view was amazing and we had a doe and fawns that would wonder in the back area. It’s location is convenient with town close as well as free nature trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
The only precaution is that we suggest ensuring you have good tires! We live in a flat area & didn’t even consider that. Our poor minivan struggled getting up to the cabin a bit (not the best mountain vehicle). We got new tires for the back due to low tread and that helped. This was poor planning on our part, not the owners!

Great getaway
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayBooked the cabin for my wifes birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival we found the cabin decorated with balloons and banners! Who does that?
The cabin itself is in a very tranquil area but still close to everything. Early morning coffee on the back deck and then again in the evening watching the deer was magical. Cabin had everything you would need and was very comfortable.
Cant say enough nice things about our hosts. You can tell a lot about them by the way they beautifully decorated the cabin. They even stopped by just to say hi and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you Coach and Carla! I hope to get a chance to visit again.

Weekend Getaway
Publié le 28 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect little cabin! We enjoyed playing Dominoes, Corn Hole, S'mores at the fire pit and the daily visit from a group of deer. Good dining at PJ's Rainbow Cafe and Jo Jos.
