Beautiful and Peaceful

The area was quiet and we only saw one other vehicle during our stay and the people were friendly. Inside the home was very clean and was much better in person than the photos. The view from the front porch was fantastic as we had the morning coffee there.

The house was perfect and proximity to state parks could not be beat.

Expect Awesome
Publié le 4 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayFavorites: Band of Horses music playing on record player setting mood while we unpacked and got settled. Enjoyed listening to records while we played a card game at the table each night.
View: Front porch (during winter when leaves are down) looks out over valley and hills. We saw fog roll down the hill in the am- birds going nuts (in an enjoyable way). Rainbow landed right in the valley.
Quality of Furnishings/Decor Touches- This family takes great pride in providing a classy experience. My son enjoyed the interesting xylophone on the dresser.
Sauna- So awesome.
Porch- So awesome.
We have an all wheel drive Honda Pilot. That was a suitable vehicle for this awesome place. Great stay.

Publié le 8 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe found this gem back in the summer and I knew we should book it again. So I chose this for my Birthday get away! It was a great weekend. Ran to Fayetteville for the Farmers Market, grabbed some fresh vegetables, quick lunch and got in some Christmas shopping. Then back to the cottage for a relaxing evening that ended with a trip out to the sauna. Monday morning came too soon!
