Quiet getaway to relax and rejuvenate
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is situated perfectly as a quiet getaway in the woods just a short walk from overlooking a beautiful mountain and fort smith lake. The log cabin is budget friendly, neat and clean. Outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub is a real hit with everyone who needs to unwind and relax after a hike. Plenty of hiking trails nearby, fort smith boating and canoeing activities around to enjoy the stay as well. Overall a great place to escape the hustle buzzle of daily city noise! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the short stay and we hope to visit again in the coming year!

Meets Expectations

Just a couple suggestions (very first world issues) …a table/bar-height tray beside one side of the hot tub so one can rest a drink or cell phone would be so excellent; a couple of the dishes in cabinet were less than clean but i know that is more about previous renters putting things away in less than great shape. It is a peaceful location, in a beautiful area, and I enjoyed watching a doe and her yearlings meander through the backyard in the early morning. Overall a great weekend getaway.

Peaceful getaway
Publié le 12 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was very clean and well stocked. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The hot tub was so nice, especially in the evenings. It is really close to Lake Ft. Smith State Park, and Devil’s Den State Park is only about 25 minutes away. Both are beautiful parks and have great hiking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Marriage Weekend

Quaint Getaway

Anniversary Getaway

I love how the kitchen was fully furnished. I did bring our own groceries because I knew there was not any stores super close. Thanks to the previous reviews, I knew exactly what I was getting. It was perfect!

Peaceful Getaway
