Super prestations mais safari game décevant

Proprete irréprochable. Bel endroit au milieu de la brousse avec un point d’eau pour attirer les animaux. Tres bons repas et breakfast. Nous avons ete decus par le safari game lodge en 3 heures nous avons vu quelques elephants et girafes, quelques hyene, 1 rhinocéros tout de même. Aucun fauve a part 1 lion de très loin car 5 voitures dessus. Notre guide a beaucoup tourné sans plus de succès. Franchement pour le prix nous sommes très déçus a ce niveau car nous avons vu beaucoup plus d’animaux au parc gouvernemental bien moins cher. Si vous cherchez le confort ok mais pour les animaux la reserve semble bien pauvre.

Thank you for your feedback received from your stay with us this week. I will pass on your feedback to the owner, manager and the team regarding the lodge. We are concerned to hear that you were disappointed with the safari drives. Our guides are highly trained and do their utmost to see as many sighting as they possibly can during a guests stay with us, but unlike in a zoo where animals are in one place, the habitual patterns of wildlife is unpredictable and sometimes they are a bit elusive and we can struggle to get all of the big five sightings for every guests visit. Other guests who stayed 21-24 October left reviews on seeing the big five, so perhaps they saw these on the 21st before you arrived or on the 24th when you skipped your game drive. It is unfortunately not predictable and can’t be guaranteed, as wildlife have the freedom to move over very large areas, even though the guides do try their utmost to find all the animals guests would like to see. There are rules in place to limit the number of vehicles at sightings on the properties we traverse on, but unfortunately if sightings are on the tar road entering the reserve, we have no control over other private vehicles or vehicles of lodges from other reserves. Please let us know if there were multiple vehicles at a lion sighting and it wasn’t on the tar road, as we would have to investigate this, as our rules dictate a maximum of 2 vehicles on a cat sighting at a time?We are sorry for your disappointment with this regard, but hope that you can understand that we have no control over wildlife in the reserve.Bush regardsThe Baobab Ridge Team

The property was AMAZING! Every part of the place had such an African feel to it and the decor and layout of the rooms was phenomenal.

Fantastic unforgettable experience. Everything was looked after so well. Fabulous game drives. David was fantastic. Delicious food. Recommend the place to anyone who wants a superlative Safari experience .

Bel posto, bella atmosfera. Ma il lodge avrebbe bisogno di un po' più di cura nei dettagli e soprattutto di una migliore organizzazione. Colazione, pranzo e cena andrebbero sicuramente migliorati...ovviamente il tutto rapportato al prezzo che si paga: per circa 700-800€ al giorno, aldilà dei safari, ci si aspetta qualcosa in più.
