Publié le 30 juill. 2023 sur HotelsNous revenons d’une semaine au Parc Kruger, entre les réserves privées de Sabie Sands et du parc Kruger lui-même, et le Kruger Shalati surpasse tous les autres lodges, son rapport qualité est absolument imbattable.
L’idée d’un lodge dans un train sur un pont est déjà plus qu’originale. Les chambres sont magnifiquement décorées, et la vue sur le fleuve du haut du pont est saisissante. La nourriture est excellente est de loin la meilleure que nous ayons goûtée lors de notre séjour.
Le personnel est très professionnel et absolument charmant, et notre guide SIZWE pour les Game Drives s’est montré adorable, très attentionné et très professionnel également, il a su nous transmettre toute sa passion au travers des explications qu’il nous a promulguées sur les léopards, lions, éléphants, hippopotames, crocodiles et oiseaux de toutes sortes qu’il a trouvés pour nous.
Si vous envisagez de visiter le Parc Kruger, un seul conseil, descendez au Kruger Shalati Train on the Bridge, vous ne serez pas déçus, tout y est fantastique !

This was an end to end amazing experience. The location does a lot but without the hospitality of Kruger Shaleti we would have been lost. Victor our guide was incredible - his passion for the game animals and knowledge is unparalleled. It was inspiring to meet someone who loves their craft so much.

From the moment we arrived the accommodation and the staff were perfect and everyone couldn’t have done anything more to ensure that we had a fantastic time. We honestly couldn’t find fault with anything. We feel that we need to make mention of our safari tour driver guide Thuli, her knowledge of all the animals and surroundings was really impressive and she ensured that we got to see all the big 5 and so much more. An amazing trip from start to finish.

To start of with and most important: the staff is simply amazing. We stayed for 4 nights and Angel and Aldine made us feel right at home. They catered to our every need and are simply such lovely people that talking to then brings a smile to your face. Our ranger Sipho made sure everyone was comfortable and took us on amazing game drives. With his remarkable ability to spot anything and track animals we did not miss any wildlife. Amazingly enough he even tracked down a white rhino.
All staff is attentive, very friendly and good natured. The food was lovely and varied. My wife is pescatarian and during every meal the chef made sure there were additional fish dishes available to pick from. Splendid!
The property is uniquely situated with amazing views of the river and the animals roaming in the river bed. The styling of the rooms is elegant and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed in a carriage on the bridge for two nights and spent the other two nights in the sunset villa. Great to experience both!
Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Kruger Shalati. Everything about it was top notch. The staff were outstanding, the rail carriage rooms were stunningly beautiful with a full side of windows to enjoy the beauty of the river and its visitors. We saw elephants with minutes of arriving at our room. The early morning and afternoon safari drives were amazing. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Thank you to Fanni and Geoff that took great care of in the dining room and to our guide Thullli who made sure we saw lots of wildlife up close. We loved every minute of our stay.
