Nice neat cottage in a perfect location to Mudgee CBD
Publié le 31 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe old cottage seems to have been renovated extensively in recent years to make it more comfortable for paying guests. Unfortunately, there were no outside lights functioning (backyard or front porch) due to a lack of home maintenance, making entry to the accommodation in the dark (from early evening late May) difficult. This was communicated to the owner, Margaret who seemed very surprised! Aircon fan probably needs a check-up too since the fan on low seems too 'windy'.
Note: Guests bring all your own food, or eat out since only tea, coffee and UHT milk is provided (no welcome breakfast basket).
Unfortunately, I had to take a trip to Woolworths to buy washing up gloves and kitchen scourers, as none were provided.
Overall, yes I would recommend this property once maintenance has been completed to fix important security lighting.
On the upside the two beds were comfortable, warm (electric blankets) and bathroom shower great water pressure, temperature easy to control. Also, spacious outside parking area at the rear of the cottage was welcome!

We were originally going to bring our dogs but for anyone considering it this yard was one of the few places I have ever stayed at where the yard was secure enough for dogs to not get out.
