spacious and comfortable
Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwaywe were pleasantly surprised at the size of this place. There were plenty of places to sit in either of the two living rooms. And plenty of places for folks to sleep.
Kitchen was well-stocked, and even had a good bit of (still sealed) food in the pantry. (I discovered this after finding out no food delivery services would deliver to me)
The bathroom in the master was huge, but unfortunately the shower was tiny and difficult to use--it was fine for hosing off, but i would use the other bathroom for anything more than that.
Home was in a quiet neighborhood, a quick drive up the road from downtown Mullens. It is right next to the train tracks, but I only heard a train go by once, and it was midday.
Property owner was responsive to requests and feedback.

This place was ok
Publié le 12 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place was kinda run down, eveything was pretty old and outdated which u can't tell in the listing pictures. Also when I hear the word retreat I imagine its decently secluded and this place has neighbors all on top of you and a school nearby. Also quiet hours begin at 9pm, who goes on vacation to be quiet at 9pm? Probably the worst thing though its right next to railroad tracks and yep you guessed it, the train went by both nights we stayed and blows its horn. The only things we found positive is it was roomy and the master bed was comfortable, I can't speak for the other beds.

House was larger than expected and perfectly located
Publié le 3 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayHouse was larger than expected and perfectly located. We would like to come back again sometime but with more people. Everything was as expected and more. We even got to watch some of the kids softball games Saturday during a break in riding the trails.
