Publié le 30 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayMy family and I enjoyed this cabin it was clean and cozy, the power turned off for a few hours due to the weather, and the owner called me to ask if we were ok she kept me updated with any changes with the power company the pool table was a bonus.

Publié le 28 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe so enjoyed staying at the Hickmans hideaway. Sitting by the fire pit watching the birds and squirrels in the beautiful trees. Strolling through the forest was absolutely gorgeous next to Odell lake. An evening in the Recreation room downstairs was so much fun, Along with grilling our dinners on the barbecue and sitting in front the fireplace.

Perfect vacation rental for Northern Arizona

The house was very clean, had 3 comfortable bed rooms, a nice kitchen, a cozy family room and a game room! There is also a very nice and large back porch with great views, perfect for an afternoon drink. The house felt very comfy; it's very open with a nice flow. Location-wise it's perfect: it's close to numerous parks (Grand Canyon about 2 hrs away, Montezuma's castle, Tuzigoot, Walnut Canyon, etc. less than an hour away, stores and restaurants in Flagstaff about 20 minutes away), but it's in a quiet town and not at all crowded (whereas Sedona has become VERY crowded, with LOTS of traffic). I'd highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in northern Arizona.

Peaceful refuge for active tourist

Great spot!
Publié le 15 nov. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the game room each night! The beds available were good unless you had two people who were not married/together. We enjoyed cooking, grilling, sitting by the fire table on the deck among the beautiful trees, and enjoyed the sparkle coming off of the lake. The trek to Sedona was a bit much, but the ease of access to Flagstaff does make this a great spot to lay your head. The area is just beautiful with the tall pines and cabins, you can't go wrong with a walk around the neighborhood. The place is easy to find and we had ample direction on how to operate everything within the home for a comfortable stay.

We are sorry the sleeping arrangements of 1 king and 2 queen beds, as listed, were not what your group ended up needing. The list of area attractions in our VRBO listing, including distances to each, was specific about how far we are from Sedona. Unfortunately, VRBO continues to show as the crow flies.
