Pour une nuit cela est correct, il y avait la cour de l’école collée à notre chambre donc le matin vers 6h30 nous entendions les enfants jouer et crier. Il y avait une forte odeur d’essence ou que sais je dans la salle de bains. Par contre le personnel est très gentil et arrangeant.

One of our room is located next to the elementary school, every Monday - Friday at around 6.30 to 7 am the children are gathering to play before going to their class, reminiscing our childhood memories, they also praying together (we called it Tri Sandhya) the first thing to do before the class, that’s also the way to remind us as adults to always send morning prayer to start the day with gratitude, Pardon us if it disturbs you but that was our uniqueness, and maybe you couldn’t find it in other country. And about unpleasant smell from the bathroom, we have addressed the issue with our team to find out the source and ensure this does not happen again. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back for a more positive experience.Best Regards,

Beautiful little slice of paradise

Amazing place for some relaxing vacations. Located in a peaceful valley. We stayed in a very room with a great view. Very good food. Probably the best service I had in a guest house as those are really lovely and helpful people. Highly recommend it.

Gorgeous views and lovely place to land!
Infinity pool was very welcoming after trekking those hills in the heat & top level of restaurant had pretty sunset views. I was very impressed with my room. Treat yourself to massages on site!
But most importantly was the staff. I felt well taken care of my entire stay. Accommodating, friendly and Putu especially was a big help. He kept my schedule better than I did, and even saw me off at 530 AM. I felt safe as a solo female traveller- the people definitely make the place.
Munduck is a lovely community!

En perle i Munduk
Publié le 4 juill. 2023 sur HotelsMin kæreste og jeg var på besøg her i 4 nætter. Da vi kom blev vi fuldstændig blæst tilbage, over hvor fantastisk et sted det var. Lokationen, højt oppe, med udsigt udover den flotte natur. Himmelsk. Personalet var så enormt flinke og hjælpsomme, og vi vil anbefale dette sted til enhver, der gerne vil til Munduk! Vi spiste morgenmad og aftensmad der hver dag, og maden var rigtig god. Dem som arbejder der var alle enormt flinke, og de gav os en rigtig god oplevelse. Billederne af stedet retfærdiggøre slet ikke, hvor skønt et sted det er. Det er fantastisk.

The staff wasn't able to speak English properly therefor it was complicated to communicate with them. Plus, they were not able to help us with simple request such as Mount Batur sunrise trekking. Also, when we arrived the lady told us we were able to use the pool of the other property and that a shuttle was available for us to go and come back but when we asked for it, it was not possible. The room was as described. On our last day, the staff was nice enough to provide breakfast despite the fact that we had to leave at 5am.

We really appreciate all the input and suggestions that build up as an evaluation material in our service. We do apologize for the shortcomings in facilities and services (especially for some commuication troubles with our staff) during your stay, because all of them are local people from munduk village who learn english by themselves, without any formal education. Another problem about trekking request, we are sorry because the location of mount batur is far away from munduk village, and there is no available driver to pick you up early morning to the location. It's better to stay
one night in Kintamani before sunrise trekking in Mount Batur (Kintamani). The last about the shuttle car, we really sorry that the car machine is being repaired, maybe that lady staff didn't know about the car's problem exactly and that was our mistake. But overall, thank you for your review, comments, and suggestion, it really help us to improve the hospitality. We hope that we can meet again at Puri Sunny Hotel & Camping.
