Decent hotel and location even with renovations
Posted Feb. 17, 2024 on HotelsOver all nice place and room was clean. There was no service for the rooms, garbage or towels unless requested. Also there was a lot of renovation work going on that was messy and a little noisy but not that big of a deal. Nice little town with basic services. Great spot for visiting south Bavaria at an economical price

When we book the place, it was not mentioned abt the renovation. Much later we received an email to inform us abt the renovation and therefore breakfast would not be available, which was fine with us as we didn’t plan to hv breakfast at the hotel. When we arrived, we were not able to use kettle, even spoon as they said due to renovation, kitchen is closed. They hv no common fridge for us to use. No air condition/ventilation and no fridge.

The hotel is undergoing construction and my room is just facing the site, which is very nuisance. Also, the elevator is under maintenance, so I need to carry my luggage up to the room by myself

This property is under going major renovations and so much is missing, elevator is down, floors are torn up, no breakfast dusty and much crew around difficult to say what it will be like when done.

Property is under construction, therefore didn’t have options to eat breakfast. Elevator out of order due to construction. WiFi was offered but did not work in our room. We prepaid and felt we should have been offered a partial refund as the hotel was not what we had paid for as per the description. There is no air conditioning and I had to ask for a fan. Thank goodness this was in the write up regarding fans available as staff did not offer upon checkin.
