Dirty cabin
Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was filthy. The loft bed sheets were stained and had to be washed before sleeping. The closet shelves in the main level were full of dirty sheets and blankets. The thermostat was set on 70 degrees cold and we couldn’t change it. We called for a code that it asked for, but we got no help. The couches were stinky and dirty. Oven was dirty and greasy. Laundry door was falling off. Awful.

Im so sorry the cabin didn’t meet your expectations. Regarding the thermostat you may recall that I called you but you were out shopping. The linens are washed after each stay and replaced regularly. We have shared your input with our cleaning crew

The neighborhood is lovely with safe, paved asphalt road for the inclines. The property has nice furnishings. There are multiple comfortable seating areas with a tree/mountain view for conversation, reading or solitude.
I especially loved the upstairs loft. Beautiful wood walls and floors. Lovely golden light coming in every morning and sunset.

Great cabin in a great location!
Publié le 9 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay, and would highly recommend. Mark was great, and handled an unexpected problem quickly. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for 7 adults to cook all of our meals. There was an incredible amount of deer and turkey in the community, which made the drive up to the cabin interesting. Our GPS took us up on top of the mountain, which had a difficult turn or two, but we found a much better way in on a lower road. The next time we come to Murphy, this cabin will be our first choice!
