Cute cottage one block from downtown
Publié le 21 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage is far back in the backyard of the main house. You don't even realize there is another home on the property except that you need to walk past it on the way in. Bed was comfy and the patio was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed.
There is some poison oak sprouting up here and there in the yard/hedges so make sure to stay clear of it especially if you bring a dog.
It took about 5 minutes to walk to the main street. The drive to the grocery was also about 5 minutes. We enjoyed driving up the hill to the wineries.

Great home base for a stay in Murphys!

Weekend away with my daughter

We were meeting friends for a birthday weekend so spent unfortunately not enough time at this beautiful property. I wish we had more time so plan to book a return without social obligations to enjoy this wonderful little space with my daughter .

Heard house
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was very clean and had all sorts of amenities. The bed was comfortable. Wish they had darker curtains since the porch lights stayed on. We were not a fan of having to park on the street. Was worried someone would sideswipe our vehicle. Glad it wasn't raining since the passenger couldn't just climb back in to the car. It was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful place overall.

It's on a 2-way switch you can turn on inside the cottage or as you walk up to the cottage, and that's in the instructions I send out. We've never had a parked car damaged, but Church Street is not a wide street and I can appreciate your concern. We hope to see you again

Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was an amazing location to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Total privacy. 200 yards to Main Street. Quiet. Idyllic. Treetop haven. Fresh flowers and well-decorated. This retreat lives up to its reputation with aplomb. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
