Welcome to "Walking on Sunshine"! a very well-cared for and clean home. There is FREE PRIVATE BEACH FRONT PARKING for guests in our community that choose to drive our golf cart or their car to the beach and also beachfront rest rooms and outdoor showers are bonus amenities for the residents and guests staying in our community.

*One (1) small dog under 20 lbs. is welcome. (An additional dog or larger dog may be considered at an additional fee...please ask.)

Our home is complete with a washer and dryer; screened in deck; and an open floor plan including a fully stocked kitchen w/ island seating and dishwasher. The apartment/in-law suite downstairs has its own separate entrance, another fully stocked kitchen with island seating and a dishwasher. And, YES, the quoted rate includes the rental of the entire house -- both up and down -- with the beds made and ready for you to relax! It's like two homes for the price of one! Sleeps 10 including sofa bed upstairs. (Sofa bed sheets and comforter are provided in closet. This is not made in advance).

But wait! There's more! The GOLF CART is ALSO INCLUDED! This is an approximately $350 savings if you had to rent one! (For licensed drivers age 18 or older.)

There is an outside shower (with HOT and COLD water!) and beach chairs and toys are provided. A Weber gas grill is also an additional amenity for your convenience.

Looking for that perfect beach house and/or golf getaway home in a private, gated resort? This is it...only a few miles from Myrtle Beach International Airport, steps from the beach, minutes from golf courses, and just down the street from Murrells Inlet & Pawleys Island to the south and Myrtle Beach to the north!

Within our gated community, there are two outdoor pools and a 'mini' water splash park for the kids (seasonal) and a year-round indoor pool. All are sure to be a memory-makers! Oceanside Village also has a 16 person whirlpool next to the Hickory Grove pool. An activities center, tennis courts, pickleball, a basketball court, baseball field, playground, volley ball court, five stocked fishing ponds, horseshoe pits and bocce ball are also available onsite.

You can enjoy the fitness center for an additional, minimal fee per week by signing up at the office onsite. Golf for an additional fee at the spectacular Tupelo Bay course is just 3 minute ride or 15 minute walk away...across the street from the main gate. Check out their Glow Golf or Foot Golf when available!

Our golf cart is included with your rental for travel in Oceanside Village ONLY and for beachfront parking in the FREE Oceanside Village private parking area ONLY.

Quoted rates are for renting the whole house (upstairs and downstairs). However, the lower-level and upper-level may rent separately for less $$ during slow seasons; providing you are OK with us renting the level you are not renting.

RENTAL RATE INCLUDES DEPARTURE CLEANING!

Guests must sign and return owner's rental agreement and vehicle info form and participate in a scheduled pre-stay phone call after booking this property.

We welcome conversations by text, email or phone at anytime before, during and after your stay. We also schedule a brief "pre-stay" phone call with all of our new and returning guests!

FYI: Short stays of 4 nights or less may be welcome at certain times of the year.

Perfect Stay — Highly Recommend!

Perfect Beach Getaway - Stunning Home with Unbeatable Location!

The house was absolutely stunning, and every detail made it feel like a true home away from home! The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available to help or answer any questions, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. The directions were clear, and the location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings whenever we wanted. One of the best parts was that it’s pet-friendly, so we were able to bring our dogs along! They had the best time walking to the beach with us for breathtaking sunrises and serene sunsets. It truly made the stay even more special. This property is everything we hoped for and more, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay in this beautiful home and in Myrtle Beach!

Walking on Sunshine Property

This property was beautiful. Everything was well stocked, everything that you could possibly need was provided by the hosts, Bill and Nancy Curry. Great communication. Great location with easy access to the beach, shopping, restaurants, gas stations. We really enjoyed our stay. Having a golf cart to use was a plus. We brought our two chihuahuas along and it was just like being back home. Nancy and Bill Curry are amazing hosts. We will definitely stay again.

Relaxing Vacation

Check in was smooth. Everything was as advertised!! So convenient from Myrtle Beach airport only about a 10 minute drive. The house was very well equipped with all the necessities and then more. The community was very quaint and a lot of amenities; pool, indoor pool, hot tub. We enjoyed taking the golf cart to the beach and driving around the gated neighborhood.. You’re only minutes away from Murrells Inlet with all the fabulous restaurants. Nancy and Bill are fabulous host. Thank you for a great vacation.

House was practically perfect. Comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and kitchen. Nice big screened in porch. Walking distance to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, and games. If only there was a fenced in yard for the dogs. There is a dog park nearby in the village and we liked the indoor pool

Great location, furnishings and experience

We were extremely impressed by the quality of the furnishings and accomodations. We had everything we needed and the place was extremely clean. Even the gas grill was spotless! Nancy and Bill were very responsive and communicative. The golf cart was a great add-on to our stay.

Sept 2023 Family Vaction

Nancy & Bill "Walking on Sunshine" House was Beautiful and stocked with everything we needed to make our vacation great for the week. With the house having a separate unit everyone had there own quiet time and then getting together with the cover porch and hanging out was enjoyable. We cooked and grilled alot and the kitchen had everything. Communication with Nancy was quick and very helpful. Having the Golf Carts made getting around the community easier going to the pool, beach and activities.

Relaxing and beautiful vacation home.

Everything was wonderful. A beautiful fully stocked home with a downstairs apartment. Perfect for our family. Two places in one. Having the apartment downstairs was perfect for my mother and her boyfriend to have their own privacy from us and the kids. It was a very relaxing time. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. And will keep it in mind for our future vacation needs.

Pleasant Surprise

Close proximity to a lot without being in our opinion close to hustle and bustle. It was walking distance to the beach and the indoor heated pool was the Bomb! The unit we stayed in had access to the upstairs unit with washer and dryer. Both units fabulously stocked. Make sure to check out what you have before you go to grocery store. Nancy Curry our host couldn't have been any more pleasant and accommodating to deal with even checking to see if we needed anything. All n All one of the best units we've ever stayed in. Only complaint little burs that get in dogs feet which our neighbor kindly warned us about! Full timers were also very nice and informative.

Something for everyone

This was perfect for our group of 6. Lots of space to spread out, kitchen well stocked with cookware for family meals. Super clean and tastefully decorated. Love the porch! The location is fabulous...walk to the beach or ride in golf cart. Stores very close, state parks only a short ride away, golf right nearby. Fabulous for walking, hiking, fishing, birding, golfing, swimming...everyone had lots of fun. Super-friendly neighborhood. We couldn't have asked for a more convenient location! Loved it!
