Never again
Loved Oceanside Village, but the house and the property manager made for a bad week. This was first vacation I wad able to take my family on in 3 years. On Day 2, the futon couch in living room fell apart without anyone touching it. Literally. I reported the issue to the property manager. She was surprised since they had no issues when moving couch before we stayed she said. Nobody could repair it until the next morning so we had no usable common area space in the house at all for the night. I asked for a small rebate of some sort to make up for our trouble, and was told (rudely) that other renters had screwed them in the past and she wasn’t going to let me do the same. Then she hung up on me while I was still talking. I also noticed the water heater was not working properly, since hot water was lukewarm at best from every faucet. I reported this issue on Tuesday of our stay. They sent operations manager out on Wed morning to adjust tank temp which did not work. On Thurs, ops manager replaced water heater, which still did not work. On Fri. ops manager tried to adjust the temp new water heater which still did not work. Fri. afternoon ops manager replaced the water heater again. Still no hot water. We left today (Sat) without a warm shower all week after paying a lot of money to come to beach. You can imagine how hard this was with a toddler and two teens. Again no type of rebate or even an I’m sorry for your trouble this week. I am so disappointed . Worst vacation experience
