The long term tenants made me very uncomfortable for my stay. The receptionist was very kind to inform of the situation, however I could not stay there due to the circumstances. Police presence was there when we left for dinner and I could not return to the premises for the unsafe feeling. I let the staff know and they were kind.

I reserved my 2 rooms over a month in advance and upon check-in the employee couldn't find my name, then couldn't find my room, then found 1 room but not the other, then found both rooms I had reserved but told me I had only paid for 1 of them. I showed him my confirmation as well as my digital receipt. Eventually, we got our rooms and while both were supposed to be non-smoking rooms 1 was definitely used to smoke. Both rooms were filled with flies, and there was what appeared to be cat food on the floor in the corner of one room (probably why the flies were there!). There were stains on the sheets on all 4 beds. My mother was staying in a nearby room and in the morning a landscaper was weed-eating and hit a rock that shattered the passenger window of her car. The worker and the same desk employee said "Accidents happen, but we're not liable." The continental breakfast was 4 prewrapped mini muffins for the 7 of us. I wasn't expecting much...but we got WAY less than that, and unfortunately, it has officially made motels a place I will only take my family when no hotel, or rest stop, is available. -10 out of 10, do not recommend.

It was so gross and the room smelt like stale cigarette smoke. People were loitering in the parking lot and it made us feel so unsafe we checked out early and had to book another property.
