2 caveats: there are a lot of steps from the parking; there s no stove/oven

A 5 star property. Yes, we had some work being done and when you arrived we immediately notified the people working on the cottage next door to pack up and leave. We take a lot of pride in our property and want to make sure all of our maintenance is done in between our guest’s schedules. Our guests come first!! In all fairness the construction definitely did not go on all weekend. It ceased immediately. It was unfortunate they woke you when they came back to pack their tools the next morning. As it is a boathouse, In our documents we do advise that we have a boat in the boathouse. Sorry you missed that. It also says that if you do not want us to access it to let us know. Since we didn’t hear from you, we thought it was ok to come and take the boat. We are sorry you misunderstood. It was removed and not returned.I believe the other boat noise was
Coming from the boats that go by on the lake. I was happy to arrange a tour of the lake and a discount, however we find that you are a hard guest to please. It’s unfortunate because all of our guests
Love it and most Return regularly. We take pride in our 5 star rating. I understand as well that is was a new experience for you. Staying right on the lake is unique and beautiful. On a more positive note I was very happy that you mentioned it was a beautiful spot when we spoke. Again, we apologize that you were woken up.

Heavenly!

We've stayed on lake Muskoka and lake Rosseau several times before but this neither of them compare to this experience. The home was clean and well appointed, the location is pristine, and we never wanted to come out of that water! Thanks Lorrie and our hosts for a wonderful, personalized, week. It was just what we needed.

Beautiful boathouse
Publié le 12 août 2023 sur HomeAwayBeautiful place on a beautiful lake. Maybe the best Muskoka rental we’ve had. The only issues were the very steep and rough lane into the cottage and the many, many steps from parking down to the boathouse. Carrying heavy coolers and suitcases down and then back up was a hell of a workout!

We are so very glad you enjoyed the Boathouse. We love it too! As on most of the beautiful Muskoka Lakes there are winding roads with many hills. As well, most boathouses have many stairs to get to the unique location to enjoy the beauty of staying right over the water. We are grateful that our property only has 42. Numerous properties have many more. Most of our guests have not had any difficulty, but if you would like to return, kindly let us know and we would be happy to help you with your luggage. We are so pleased and proud that that you felt that this was the best Muskoka rental.

Muskoka Magic

The location was perfect with it being right on the water and near enough to a few towns to go sightseeing. The property manager was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We will absolutely be back next year for our one year anniversary.

Beautiful and unique
Publié le 30 août 2022 sur HomeAwayIt was the perfect get away for our small family. Lots of swimming, fishing and relaxing. The lake is clear and beautiful. The views are breathtaking. We kept the windows open so we could enjoy the sound of the waves while in the boathouse, it was wonderful. The boathouse is beautiful with quality furniture and is very clean and well kept. My advise is to pack light, the stairs down to the boathouse and then up to the entrance are a workout.
Lorrie was wonderful to work with, she was well organized and very helpful.

Summer Boathouse Getaway
