Avis Fabulous newly renovated 3 bed 2 bath Muskoka cottage

The cottage itself is delightful, ultra clean and fresh with comfortable beds and seating. Everywhere are considerate touches that add to one’s comfort & pleasure. The outdoor deck, dock and lawn are perfect too. What’s not mentioned in the listing is the Boatworks/Marina to the left of the property and a rental cottage on the right that is very busy. During our 7 day stay 3 separate groups of at least 12 people each came to stay at the cottage next door, while not offensive these large groups are there to party, play music, toss the frisbee on our adjoining lawns for a few days and then the next group arrives to do the same …all about 50 yards from where we sat at 55 Todholm. Did this take away from the sense of privacy and peace, yes it did. Perhaps a nice thick planting of cedars or grasses would help to add to the privacy of your otherwise lovely cottage. Thankyou

The cottage interior has been recently renovated to very high standard and it is stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. One negative: there is a step down that runs the length of the cottage that everyone in our party stumbled over during our stay. Unless something is done, a serious accident could happen. Located close to Port Carling.
