A great stay but with unfulfilled potential

The location is great for tourists, but lousy if you're in Nyeri for business as it's a ways out of town. The little villas are quaint, but it would still be nice to have a tv and internet. Meals are good, but repetitive if you're there for more than a couple nights.

Emplacement : Do their Nature walk... fabulous to be able to walk with our knowledgeable guide, Philip, down among the animals!
After a hectic drive from busy Nairobi this place is an absolute haven of beauty and tranquility.... if I lived in Nairobi I would be up there every chance I had. Can't recommend the setting, beautiful lodge building and the genuinely lovely staff any higher! Spoil yourself and book in to Aberdare... you will not be disappointed.

Contre : Wifi access a bit dubious in our room but free computer with internet access available in the 'business centre' next to reception
Emplacement : Great location. We didn't make it to the Ark, but those that did came back with great stories to tell.
Our stay was limited to 2 nights, but included full board and lovely accommodation in the chalet style bungalows around the complex. For the very reasonable prices charged for this, the overall comfort and quality was fantastic. Staff were particularly friendly and willing to chat.

Perfect location, amazing view, clean spacious and beautiful rooms with nice furniture and accurate details, with fireplace to make the atmosphere warmer. Good food, and beautiful restaurant .Especially very kind and helpful staff, always ready to satisfy the client. Everything was perfect. Thank you very much.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff is wonderful and did everything possible to make our time very pleasant. Food was delicious and presentation was beautiful. Rooms were very spacious but could have been a bit cleaner. Overall a very relaxing stay!

Relaxing and quiet environment
