The room I requested is not. What I got. Installed now night in protest and then left the next day after I was told that they were out if the rooms I requested. I went to the Marriott for the rest of the trip. I expect to be reimbursed fully for the hotel at the carriebbean.

The pictures of this hotel is very deceiving. just whole listing is very deceiving what they don’t tell you is you’re not going to stay in the main building majority of the time unless you book certain rooms if they put you in Jamaica run that is a motel/inn that it looks like they bought. Very ran down old and just was not a pleasant stay. If I could I would submit pictures but doesn’t give me the option. Door didn’t fully close,did not feel safe and ended up leaving early.

Even though the beach is very expensive during the summer months it's worth the money at this location. The location is convenient to everything, the water slide was great, the indoor and outside pools was fantastic. The kids really enjoyed it. They need to update the furniture because it was old and worn. Overall I highly recommend it.

Locked gates
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HotelsThe front desk staff was great and helped me when the owner of our room did not provide the necessary info. My low rating is due to the fact that every time it rained they locked the gates and we couldn’t get to our room without using public access so we couldn’t rinse the sand off. We’ve stayed there at least 7 times over the last 20 years and this was our first time with the gates being locked. Most of that time it was just raining. We couldn’t get out to walk on the beach in the morning and we couldn’t get in during the day. As a paying customer we should have access to walk through the pool area to our room even if swimming isn’t allowed at the time….but the pools also should not be closed all day because it rains for a few minutes. They were locked more time than they were open while we were there. We won’t be back. Our local dance studio also has always stayed there the years when they go to Myrtle for Nationals, that’s at least 20 rooms, and I’ve told them about the gates so they will be finding a different hotel for next year.

By law we can not open pools if there is lightning within 10 miles. We do keep a close check on that. I do hope you will consider coming back and giving us another opportunity.
