Hurricane relief
Publié le 12 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEvacuated to Myrtle Beach from hurricane Helene as we had no power or water at home. Had to ask a family member to book a place as I didn’t have cell service either. Was surprised to find the floors to be dirty and a previous guest’s bathroom kit left in the bathroom. Overall it served the purpose but not a 4* place.

Hi Tina, we want our guests to relax when they stay with us, and we apologize if you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - While we cannot guarantee the availability of community amenities, we do understand that these amenities play a large role when guests book a property. We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors are simply out of our control. - The HOA that manages this community, does perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of the pools before the summer season. - Two other pools in the community were open for you to enjoy considering they do not perform maintenance on all of the pools at the same time.- We do recommend that guests verify if all community amenities will be available at the time of booking. We hope you keep us in mind for your future travels. We’d love to host you the next time you visit!

Our Forever Vacation Spot
Publié le 12 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayJust a lovely family place. It’s a quick walk to the beach and I don’t feel as touristy. Nice set up for a family and a quiet community with a short drive to most things you may need. Wonderful pool and friendly neighborhood overall.

Do not rent from Evolve
Publié le 23 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe house was nice enough and if it were actually rented like a normal VRBO it would be 4-5 star. Unfortunately, this property is managed by a company called Evolve. This company refuses to use any of the normal VRBO rental services one counts on and pays for with the VRBO fee like payments and communication. Evolve forces you to go outside of VRBO to pay and that system resulted in my credit card flagging the charge as fraud. Communication was also a nightmare. They outright refuse to respond through VRBO messaging, only copy and pasting a message to go to their site. When I did that, it literally took them months to reply. Evolve relies on a local contact when at the property, but that contact never responded to emails either. We were lucky we had no big issues with the rental. Do not rent any property managed by Evolve or you might not be so lucky.

When you book through a partner site such as VRBO you deal with them for all of your needs such as billing and payments and communication.
Thank you for stating that you did not have any problem with this property and that it deserves 4 to 5 stars in your opinion. This owner has a history of 5-star reviews and has had very many guests who have appreciated their stays and enjoyed their time at this property. They will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences they are known for.
