Upon arrival at 3:30 pm. We could check in early only if we paid an additional $100. Normal check in is 4:00 pm.
while waiting half an hour to check in we walked out the building and onto the beach from a public access spot right next door. Beach looked good, but the guy shooting up heroin on a bench on the boardwalk access was not comforting.
Hotel is nice. Area is not good. People hanging around outside near the hotel at 5:00 AM (I was walking our dog).
I like Hampton Inns and this hotel is nice, but I will not stay near that area again.

The fire alarm kept going off, kept telling us it was a malfunction, after the third time we didn't evacuate.
Was nice and relaxing down by the pool/beach.
The fish taco's were amazing @ the Reel....(taco Tuesday)
Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our time there, loved the ocean view. Loved the walk ability to the beach and main attractions. Staff was great.
