Beat up & dirty condo

Ultimate issue that caused us to leave six days ahead of schedule was the inoperable washing machine, which owner acknowledged he knew about but wouldn’t be able to fix until several days later in our stay. AFTER we had already checked out, the property mgmt said they “most likely would have refunded you a small portion” of our stay for the inconvenience. Other big issue for us was an outlet in the front entry that was missing its cover - huge safety issue with small children. Quick fix but once reported, no commitment to fix. Other issues noted: -Bedroom closets very messy. Doors was off track in the 2nd bedroom. Random pillow cases scattered among many pillows & other debris on floors including left behind dirty clothes from previous guests -Multiple pieces of garbage from previous guests found in dresser drawers & under the beds -LR curtains sagging due to a missing middle bracket -No sheets provided for air mattress Property manager told us they were “under no obligation to refund you for the nights you chose not to stay" despite inoperable washer/dryer. Learn from our costly mistake: 1) contact VRBO 1st with your problems 2) document EVERYTHING with photographs “Resolution” we were refunded a fraction of what we paid and lost over $800 (not including the two nights we stayed and paid for). Management was OK to deal with but had they been upfront about the chain of concern (i.e. contact VRBO first) we may not have been out so much to rebook new place.

Hi Miranda, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were both surprised and disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We became aware of the issue with the washing machine not draining when you reached out, instead of attempting to repair it we made the decision to replace it with a brand new one. Unfortunately, you did not want to wait for it's delivery and decided to cut your stay short. Although this was something unforeseen, we're truly sorry that this happened during your stay. We will follow up with our maintenance team to further look into the missing cover from the outlet. - We use a cleaning service to professionally clean the home before each guest stay and our cleaning service take great pride in making sure the home is cleaned upon our guests arrival. We hope that the measures taken by both ourselves and Evolve made up for any inconvenience you may have encountered during your stay. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Loved the location. Quite little apartment community but only 2-3 minutes from Broadway at the Beach.

Booked this location for 5 days. Traveled with my husband and our 4 children. Loved the location, grocery and all attractions located right down the road and beach was about 6 minute drive right up the street. The condo was beautiful and clean and located directly by the pool. The host was very nice and answered any questions we had immediately. Would definitely book this condo again in the future. Already planning on returning before the summer is up!

This was a perfect place for us. My brother and I were in a golf tournament where we play courses in different locations and this was centrally located. The home was very clean and had everything we needed and also close to the pool to cool off after golf! Tom

Nice and handy.

Place was nice. Comfortable beds. Very equipped kitchen. Handy to shopping . Our toilet seat was broken when we got there. They came out the next day and fixed it. Derwin was great to deal with. The only downfall was heard everybody walking and running upstairs.
