Great view but dirty and outdated conditions

Was in town visiting from FL. Was kind of skeptical staying at The Palette Resort Myrtle Beach based of reviews. There are other hotels also, bear this one. Do, it can be confusing on picking a hotel for your stay. But nice scenery and beach is right behind hotel. A lot stores, things in the area that are in walking distance near by. People are nice and friendly and staff Leslie, Crystal and Shanique was very courteous, nice and fast response to my concerns and matters when it came to the room. I will say the hotel definitely needs a update on renovations, but overall everything was fine and the beach was my favorite part of the trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The property was poorly kept and had a horrible odor,facilities dirty as in pool, furniture and linens filthy

Rooms had mold, beds were uncomfortable, roaches in the rooms. Pools were dirty
