Expensive for dirty hotel.

The shower was dirty. There were many long black hairs on the shower curtain. My sister and I both have very short gray hair. There is now a $40 extra charge for having room straightened and fresh sheets or towels. The front desk clerks were downright rude. I have stayed at this resort several times before, but I will not be spending this much money for a room again at Westgate Resort. There are too many hotels on the beach to choose from.

The oceanfront rooms were amazing to wake up to and wind down to at the end of the evening. Definitely recommend them. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

We had good expectations from the place but once we got there noticed the room wasn’t properly cleaned. We stayed 4 nights and per the new protocols there was no housekeeping til we unoccupied the room. But we could have it clean if we paid a fee!!! The AC was not properly working and there was faul smell at times. Other than that pools were great and so was the staff. Will reconsider staying there again but at the end of the day you get what you paid for lol

It was quite dirty . The glass was foggy, bathroom had pee all over the bottom of the toliet. The furniture was all scratched and dirty. The tub and sink had hair. The overnight staff lady was bland and not welcoming at all. Very rude, my work trip ended 2 days early and I booked for 3 and paid in full and she was rude about me checking out early even though I didn’t ask for a refund or voucher or anything. Kinda unpleasant experience for my first time in SC.
