Jal Mahal is a good property but the service from the Staff needs to improve. Reception - seemed like no one was bothered about the checkin. They seemed very busy muti tasking and not concentrating on one customer. Felt not valued and looked like they were doing a favor. Breakfast was not included in the package as orginally chosen on Expedia. To manually include that and tell me the additional charges, I had to wait forever. No one introduced the room to explain Wifi, TV settings, hot water etc. I had to follow up couple of times with the reception on the wifi password. AC kept fluctuating often. Post 9:00 PM, there was no support provided from the reception. Hand towels not provided. Restaurant - they give the menu but whatever I ordered was not available (Bar Menu). Food - starters were served before soup and we had to send it back. Items were missing from the order and we had to follow up. Late servicing and no one bothered to give the menu or check for order unless we called them. Breakfast - tea / coffee / fresh juice / few items under food was over and we waited forever for it to be filled and finally walked out it. Second day skipped breakfast even though we had paid for it. Overall, i was disappointed with the experience and I would not return to Jal Mahal.

Service was poor. I was charged for breakfast where my booking included it. When I asked hotel staff why I am charged for it they rudely said deal with expedia. I had checked the same thing while check-in they said its included. Most of the staff cannot speak english properly. Rooms were not clean.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures here! The quality of the facilities, furniture, linens were all sub par. The room/bathroom we got looked nothing like what is shown in the pictures.

Hotel was easy to find. We were traveling in a group of 8. Check-in was easy and fast. And Rooms size was above Average. Hotel was neat and clean and food was amazing. A little expensive but surely worth every penny. I would recommend this hotel in this budget as the best one.
