Relaxing Reunion

The house, the location, the weather, everything was incredible from start to finish. Just minutes away walking from plenty of restaurants and bars! The hosts came with plenty of recommendations, and helped make our decision for dining for the weekend. Definitely would recommend this property!!

Wonderful historic house
Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed staying in Mallory house in New London, CT. It was very convenient to downtown Mystic and walking distance to a variety of restaurants. The description in the ad of the house is accurate. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. All of the appliances are top of the line models and in good working order. There were plenty of dishes and glassware. We didn’t verify the cooking utensils because we were too busy trying out the restaurants and donut shops in the area. But we were able to find everything that we looked for. The towels and bedding all exceeded expectations. The floor plan is a little quirky, it is a historic house, but was very comfortable and workable for our group of 7 adults and a toddler.
We really appreciated the special touches, a plate of homemade cookies, private label wine, coffee and a selection of teas. The host provided us with good recommendations on the area and was very quick with answers to any questions we had.

Wonderful Historic Home in Mystic
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe (a group of 12 women who have been in the same bookclub for 20 years) had a wonderful 'anniversary' celebration in this beautiful historic home. The bedroom configurations worked out perfectly, with one master on the first floor. The location to downtown Mystic and the Mystic Seaport Museum allowed for easy walks on what ended up being two beautiful fall days. The kitchen was stocked with every cooking utensil we needed and the appliances were updated/modern. There were plenty of bathrooms and expansive, comfortable gathering spaces inside and out. A lovely, lovely yard as well. The owners were as gracious as could be and very easy to communicate with.

Wonderful Home

Our family gathered here for our daughter’s wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful home to share and celebrate the days leading up to and including the big day. The hosts, Lynn and Skip, were incredibly accommodating and provided everything we could have possibly needed. If we could give it more than 5 stars, we would—10/10!

Wedding weekend

Amazing reunion weekend

The kitchen was a perfect place to gather, and the outside patio and grounds were so inviting and a great place to relax, play games, and laugh around the fire pit. Our group loved every minute at your beautiful property, and hoping to be back next year! Wonderful home and hosts for sure!

Nice GEM of a home!

While we were pretty busy with the wedding, we did not get to spend as much time on the property as we would have liked. But when we were there, it met all our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable, with a kitchen well stocked with essentials. We absolutely loved the charm and history of the home. The backyard and sitting area was a great place for the kids to run around while the adults lounged in the nice sitting area. Most importantly, there were a couple minor glitches and the owners were VERY responsive and fixed the problems immediately. It's obvious they take pride in their home. We would definitely come back!
