Downtown Mystic Flat - Newly Renovated

Newly renovated apartment in an old house built in 1845. The property is right in the center of Mystic on the Groton side of the draw bridge. Walking distance to restaurants and area attractions including Mystic Seaport Museum. Off-street parking. Short drive to Stonington Borough and Watch Hill RI.

Maximum of 2 people allowed. All guests must be at least 27 years of age. No parties allowed on premises. Pets not allowed. No smoking on premises.

About the space:
Unit 1 is located on the first floor and offers the following layout and amenities:
- One bedroom with queen-size bed
- One bath with shower
- Living room with couch and 50" TV. Streaming and live TV is through Hulu
- Full kitchen including stove, oven, fridge, microwave
- Dishes, utensils, glasses, cookware, bakeware.
- Nespresso machine

Overall the property was good. A great location, near everything you would want to do. The apartment was well stocked and comfortable. The bathroom is small and the shower is very small. For older people such as ourselves this would be a reason we would rent again. The bed and other furniture were very comfortable. I think that a few instructions would have been helpful. We were not used to a convection stove and needed to lookup on the internet operating instructions. Dish washer also had no instructions. Overall a good stay. Roger

The flat was exceptionally clean and well equipped. We had everything needed for a four night stay. We loved the location and it was an easy walk to town. Quiet location and easy parking off street. Would stay here again.

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Location right in the heart of Mystic. The owner totally remodeled the unit but kept the charm of a historic home. The furnishings & accessories were impeccable. They can decorate my home anytime. Definitely would go there again. Home away from home.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during the Mystic Art Show. The apartment is perfect for one or two people We were able to walk in and out of the center of town which was great. We've stayed at several other apartments in Mystic the past couple of years and this one was the best. It is very clean; bed is comfortable, linens are lovely and it has a well equipped kitchen. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Best place ever!
Excellent. Owner was extremely helpful. Both my partner and me have trouble walking and he brought in our luggage and helped us get settled. The apartment was well stocked with alll the extras you could need and beautifully decorated. He came back when we were checking out and again helped us with our luggage. if you are looking to stay in Mystic close to everything, this is the place.

40th Birthday Surprise
I booked this property to surprise my wife for a 40th birthday, no kids getaway-we couldn’t have asked for better! The apartment location and access are perfect. A short walk to the main section of downtown Mystic. Unless you have mobility issues (walking uphill, steep stairs, etc.) this property is perfect. Check-in was fast and easy since we are tech-savvy. Older or less tech-inclined people might struggle with the door key code, but it’s intuitive. Inside was wonderfully appointed with plenty of lights, contemporary amenities, and all the comforts of home. Again, less tech-savvy folks might struggle with the tv but we didn’t bother with it anyhow. We made great use of the Nespresso machine, however, and loved the built-in ice maker. Washer and dryer worked great for us, including the available tide pods. Michael has pretty much thought of everything! Our only suggestions for guests: 1) If you’re spoiled like we are by your mattress and pillow, consider bringing your own pillow and realize it’s a rental property mattress. 2) Bring a sound machine or use your phone (mag chargers next to the bed are a great touch!) because it is exceptionally quiet. 3) My wife recommends you shave your legs before arriving because the beautiful shower is not built for it (I laughed when she said this but couldn’t leave it out!) Next time we are child-free, we will certainly stay here. An amazing property, wonderful host, and exceptional location-this is everything you could want!
