Relaxing Time Away from Home
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe all had a great time together. It was relaxing and comfortable. We were amazed with the snacks and supplies that were available to us. We would have liked to have a higher quality toilet paper, but we survived with what was available. The bed my husband and I slept on was very comfortable. The children we had with us were ages 10-14. They found ways to be entertained, but we noticed there is lots more for toddlers and preschoolers. We did not make use of the hot tub.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! I’m thrilled to hear that you and your family had a relaxing and comfortable stay, and that you enjoyed the snacks and supplies we provided. I’m also glad the bed was to your liking, as we strive to ensure all our guests have a restful night's sleep.
Regarding the toilet paper, we use Scott for its quality and septic-safe properties, as we are in a rural area with a septic system. That said, we do stock a variety of brands in the laundry room for guests who may prefer something different.
Thank you for your feedback about the entertainment options as well! Hopefully, next time, you’ll be able to try out the hot tub, too!

Quiet Getaway
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayHummingbird Hill Resort lived up to its name - lots of hummingbirds. Spacious house, many appreciated amenities, lots of deck space, and - important since the weather ranged from hot to hotter - a powerful air conditioner.

Fantastic place for a family retreat
Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were so surprised when we arrived and there was a kitty pool full of clean water and toys ready to go. In the house gifts for the family and again the kids and even treats for our dog. He truly thought of everything. The house was large and had everything you could ever need. I highly recommend staying here and we will return.

Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was a 3 year olds dream! Our grandchildren ages 3 and twin 1 year olds loved all the toys! It was 10 minutes from the American Homestead where our youngest daughter got married. It is a pet friendly house however we did not bring a pet and my son in law was having an allergic reaction to the pet hair.. We all slept like babies.

Ladies getaway

Jim has always made sure everything is set up and the checkin process is clear and easy for everyone to understand. Love the location and how quite it is. Plenty of place to go within an hour drive.

Publié le 30 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had another amazing stay! Several family members joined Mike and I and our aging dogs for the first weekend. We celebrated my 1st teenage birthday on Friday, and had a fabulous Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday. Friday night was the first time in a hot tub for several folks; the experience made an impression on my grand niece who informed everyone "this was the best-best-best-best-best (about 27 bests) BEST DAY EVER!! The neighbor goats visited and the dogs were very curious. You could see the thought bubble above their heads: what kind of dogs are THOSE?!? The rest of the week was much quieter and we certainly enjoyed our time there. Thanks again!

Another wonderful stay
Publié le 23 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayI have stayed at this property several times over the past few years and have enjoyed it every time. Obviously because I keep coming back. I like checking in and having the entire property to myself without somebody overlooking me. I know some people enjoy having a property manager on-site but I do not.I want to be left alone. I come on holiday to the mountains to get away from everybody. Any time I have a question, Jim is quick to respond. The house is comfortable. The property is beautiful. I enjoy the patio more than anything!
