This is one of the nicest developed and poorly operated resort we have visited. The fault is not of the staff but solely the management/ownership. I could go on for hours on every area of this resort for failed oversight of training, maintenance and repair, food and beverage quality. I strongly recommend to not spend what is literally a fortune on a non-inclusive resort in Philippines at Sunlight. Was a new disappointment at every turn.

The place is amazing. It is truly a beautiful resort. Kat and Francheska, the bartenders at Luna bar and by the pool, were both great! They made my stay so much more enjoyable as I was traveling alone. I’m really glad I made trip to Sunlight Resort.

I loved our overwater bungalow villa. The scenery was amazing. Only negative on this trip was that we went during typhoon season and a typhoon had access to and from the island cut off, so we were unable to do our Coron island tour.

The property is old and not kept well. Our bedding were dirty with blood stain when we arrived . There were cracks on the walls and floor and bugs and lizard in our rooms. Mind you we had 3 separate family with separate rooms. All same poor condition. The only thing that made this place great are the people the staff are hard working and nice. But, place was bad! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!! The food selection was limited. Each time we order something they come Back saying its no longer available. Also going to places in the property is so inconvenient. Not to mention when I arrived from the airport to the location no one picked me up from the hotel until 2 hours later at the dock. I DO NOT recommend this place!

Never even reached the property due to the lack of the ability to contact the property using the provided phone number provided to make arrangements for travel from the airport to the property by land and boat.
