Fantastic beachside getaway
We had an amazing time staying here, the owners were incredibly helpful and the home is gorgeous! Having the combination of the beach only steps away and the hot tub available on the deck made for a wonderfully relaxing vacation. We will definitely be trying to return ASAP!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and had great views from every deck. During a rainstorm, we were able to enjoy the porch which offered views of the beach and a cool comfortable place to hang out. The cottage is very close to the beach making it easily accessible. Home away from home
Sugaree is our go-to property when looking to book in the OBX. Quiet location steps from the beach, near shopping, historic sites, and restaurants. The home is super clean with games for all ages for those rainy days, well stocked pantry, great layout to give teens their space. Host answered questions quickly and gave suggestions for activities and eating in the area.

Wonderful Stay!
We had a wonderful week of relaxation and family time. The close walk was perfect and our three year old daughter loved the addition of toys and the loft space! The house was clean and safe. The street was quiet and of course the beach was perfect!

Great location and property
Had a great time even with a tropical storm hitting while we were there. Super convenient access to the beach. There is a lifeguard station right at the beach access point so that's a bonus for piece of mind especially if you have kids. The beach never gets crowded. The house was just the right size for our family of 5, it was clean and exactly as described. Good communication with the owner, Tyler. Thank you!

Absolutely Wonderful Cottage!
We had an amazing time at Sugaree! This was our 3rd trip to Nags Head and this by far is our favorite place. Very clean and the listing details were 100% accurate. Fantastic location and great neighborhood. Super convenient access to the beach. The view from the top deck was beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. The closed in front porch was extremely cozy and our favorite place to relax. Hot tub was a great added bonus. Tyler was an exceptional host and we will definitely stay at Sugaree again.

Family vacation
We traveled to Nags Head for a family vacation, Sugaree was a great choice for us to stay. We had 5 people andl there was more than enough for everyone. The house was clean, location to the beach was amazing, hot tub was easy to use and very relaxing. Restaurants and shopping was nearby and convenient. We drove to Corolla to see the wild horses and the City of Duck for doughnuts was great! We would definitely stay here again

Fantastic property and hosts
Host is SUPER responsive, they have an EXTREMELY well stocked house with LOTS of toys, board games, dvds for rainy days etc. that just blew me away on one has ever had such a selection of those! House was also SO convenient to the beach and you can sit on the porch with a glass of wine and watch the sun set or rise and hear the waves crashing - which was SO relaxing! We had an issue crop up with the door lock malfunctioning and on a Fri night their maintenance man was there in less than 30 min or so from first reaching out to the owner to address it! Highly recommend this property and anything with these owners! We will be back for sure :)

Sugaree was really thoughtfully stocked for multi-generations. The upstairs area for kids was perfect, the layout on the main floor worked very well. The kitchen is well stocked and the proximity to the beach was perfect. And the hot tub was a winner for the adults.

Wow! Amazing house
What a wonderful place to stay. It was so clean and well decorated. Everything you need to have a comfortable and fun stay. The beach is in perfect walking distance and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The owner was quick with replies to questions. Would recommend this house to family and friends and we hope to visit again one day.

Great Stay at Sugar!
Our family group of 5 adults found Sugaree to be a great location for our weekend stay on the OBX. The cottage was very clean, well organized, and had everything we needed. The hot tub is conveniently located on the deck off the main floor. And Sugaree is very close to beach access - only a 2 minute walk to the beach. We highly recommend Sugaree for your OBX stay.

Warm and Friendly Feel
My family and I had a great time at the cottage. It was a warm and friendly environment. Even when the weather didn't fully cooperate with us, the amenities of the cottage entertained and delighted my kids. It's within a stone's throw of the beach and my kids had a great time there. They didn't want to leave.

We absolutely loved this property. Such amazing views and just steps away from the sand. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather to enjoy the beach as much but that being said, there were games, a hot tub, and plenty of entertainment to get through the storm. Us mom and our teen daughters LOVED it! Tyler communicated so quickly and that made our stay even better.

Wonderful family week
We stayed here with our 5 year old, 3 year old and 19 month old as well as our senior parents and we all had enough room to spread out. The house was very very clean—which is huge! The toys and reading room upstairs was a big hit for our kids and also allowed a quiet space for them to go rest in the middle of the day. The beach gear that came with the house was great as well—more than enough chairs, beach toys, boogie boards. The walk to the beach was very short and the views from the crows nest were stunning. We loved our week here and how convenient it was to get around. Thank you !
