Pierview Unit 205 - Just One More Splash, OBX Oceanfront Condo

Pierview Oceanfront Condo's formely (Bodie Island Resort) unit 205 is an oceanfront condominium located at milepost 17 in South Nags Head, NC. This beachy 2 bedroom/2 bath condo features an extreme oceanfront view, full size kitchen, private balcony, and more! This is a non-smoking / no pets unit.

This beautiful, newly renovated unit for the 2015/2016 season, 2 bedroom, 2 bath beach front Condo is a great family vacation home. The beach is right outside your door - you can't get any closer! Both bedrooms have their own private bath with the Master bathroom having a Jacuzzi tub. The unit sleeps Six (feel free to bring an air mattress to sleep more). The master bedroom has sliding glass doors that overlook the ocean and leads to your private oversized balcony, a T-V, cable and DVD player and the second bedroom has a TV/DVD player. Towels and linens are provided (bring your own beach towels).

The living room has a beautifully decorated living area, decorative fireplace, large flat screen TV. with Blue-ray/DVD, sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, multiple end tables and coffee table. The wet bar includes a sink and wine cooler. The dining area has a rustic heart of pine table with seating for six. The open well-stocked kitchen, with electric stove, and dishwasher looks out toward the dining and living areas. Along the back wall of the unit is a sliding glass door which opens up to the great private balcony overlooking the ocean. Here you'll find more seating for relaxing, reading or watching the beautiful sunrise in the morning. Completing the unit is a full size washer and dryer.

Outside, you'll find two fabulous pools (one just of the kiddies). A playground for the kids, charcoal grill and picnic area, a half-court basketball area, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, ample parking, and an elevator. For your convenience, there is also an open outdoor shower.

Get away, relax and enjoy your mornings on the deck enjoying your morning coffee and watching the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean. Spend the afternoon on the beach watching the dolphins and pelicans and swimming in the ocean. In the evenings enjoy a variety of shopping and dining opportunities or relax at home watching your favorite movie on the big screen TV.

The Condominium is in a prime location for area attractions, such as water activities, Outlet Mall shopping, Outer Banks history, aquarium and dozens of restaurants from casual to fine dining! Excellent Ocean Views

It was very good. There were some plumbing issues but we worked around them since a plumber couldn't come until the next day when we were leaving. Other than that everything was fine. Just a note for future renters. You only get one roll of tissue per bathroom, one roll of paper towels and one dishwater pod so you might want to bring extra.

A very pleasant little condo. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, as were the balcony chairs. We spent many peaceful mornings out there drinking our coffees and watching the sunrises and dolphins and listening to the waves. The location was perfect. Right on the beach, directly facing the ocean, just a short walk up the beach to Jeannette's Pier.

The weekend vacation we needed

This whole experience has been so needed by me and my wife as she is recovering from a stroke. The condo as well as the amenities were so wonderful plus the community of people in the area were so respectful and helpful. I hope for us to return next year.

Stay at Pierview

Having stayed at the Pierview in the past (different unit) We knew to expect a convenient location and a stunning view of the beach with easy access. The unit was comfortable and had what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. However, a big roach greeted us on the wall the day we checked in (never saw another one), and the tub in the second bath drained very slowly and could use a rodding. The dead bolt didn't work on the outside door (Probably rusty from the sea air). The out of order elevator was inconvenient. Though comfortable, the unit is a bit worn and could use a few upgrades. I also found having to prepay for property damage insurance offputting, never having encountered that before. But it's a great location and a perfect setting for our family's 2 days at OBX.

Fantastic view every part of the day

Fantastic view from balcony. This condo was a great place for our family. It was a wonderfully located. The beach was not that crowded the week we went so we were able to get on the beach without any problems!!!

The view from the balcony is fantastic. The place is homey and comfortable. A negative would be the bathrooms are showing some age and the lock on the door can be a little difficult. Close to several great restaurants and grocery stores.

Nice property that matched the description. Very pleased with beach access, and a nice quiet building. The condo was a good size and comfortable overall. The check in was a bit odd to just have keys in an envelope, but it was easy and quick. The condo was mostly clean. The only thing that wasn't clean was the master bathroom toilet. There were obvious urine splatters on the seat, so that was unpleasant to find and clean. The beds were ok. Not super comfortable, but adequate. Check out was easy enough, but I was a bit frustrated that we were only left with one dishwasher tab for a 3 day stay. I didn't realize that we needed to bring our own if we were to be cooking and doing dishes. Also, we had to put the dishes away before we left. Other places I have stayed simply asked us to load and start the dishwasher, which would make it easier to make breakfast on the check out day. Not a huge deal, but it was a bit annoying to have to wait on the dishwasher. I texted the property managers to let them know when we checked out so they could access the property early for the next guests, but I never heard back from them. Again, not a huge deal, but I was surprised to not even get an acknowledgement or "thanks for staying". These complaints are minor and overall it was a great place and I would consider staying there again.

MAKE SURE THE ELEVATOR WORKS!!!!!!

The condo was very nice and the beach view was fabulous but when we got there on Monday the elevator was out of order.. that’s why we picked this condo because it had an elevator.. my husband and I are in our ‘70’s and not in the best health so we needed the elevator.. it was difficult for us to pack all of our luggage up all those stairs.. but the elevator was repaired the next day so the rest of our stay was very enjoyable.

A short break

A Quiet Retreat

This condo offered all we needed for getting away for a few days to relax. Staying at MP 17 allowed us to try some different restaurants that were open in the off season. All delicious. But the best part of our stay was the incredible views from the oceanfront balcony. Many hours spent there drinking coffee, watching birds and dolphins, and seeing unbelievable sunrises!!!
