Dirty hotel near the Nairobi hospital
Publié le 13 févr. 2022 sur HotelsNot even a middle class hotel, low 1star experience. No air con, dirty rooms and over charge for driver to pick up at the airport and to drive you to dinner. Dinner at an expensive resort was less than what the driver charged total of 35 USD plus additional SHK 2000 for trip of one hour, to a restaurant that he chose, which was situated only 15 min from the very bad hotel. Not nice breakast not on time! I had to cook part of it myself, dirty & smelly restaurant & kitchen
a disgrace!

Hi Sean,
Its quite unfortunate of your reviews even after making your stay comfortable.
The hotel is not part and parcel of the taxi taking you here there...that was your own private arrangement.
At one time i saw you using a motorcycle and this was your arrangements too.
Our hotel class rates with the amount you were charged, Do note its even lower than hotel rate.
Clarify which room was dirty-quite unfortunate to write so.
Not at one time you went to the kitchen to cook, we dont allow such, on your check in you were briefed breakfast 7am to 10.30. This was the time and incase you wanted to leave before 7 you were notified to alert the reception.
No where in our page we have mentioned aircon.

Not sure what the photos with the hotel are but we didn't see a pool or anything. The breakfast takes an hour to get and every day they would have less and less food. One day i returned back to property during the day only to find that cleaner had gone through my stuff, taken my hidden kettle and was brewing herself tea! She was also using the toilet next room w the door open so could see it in hallway. There was a TV in the room, first days could see two channels (three channels non stop ads of the channel packages and last 4 days only 'snowflakes' and no TV. Cant adjust water temperature either. Also quite noisy and smelly as room under diesel generator or something. Not the greatest experience esp. as it wasn't a cheap place either. Would not recommend.

Thanks for the visit you had at ACACIA GARDENS, we appreciate.
On the raised issues,
1. The photos updated, were done by Epedia themselves upon requesting via email if they can tag our photos they saw in booking .com and AIRBNB. Those photos clearly reads MALINDI FURNISHED APARTMENT ,our other branch
2. Breakfast we do ala carte and guest is always asked their day to day preference.
3. About the shower, i have inquired and confirmed the maintenance book ,unfortunately you hadnt raised this issue for the Hotel to adress.
4.Noisy and smelly-the whole region had maintenance being carried out by KENYA POWER TECHNICIAN thus the inconvinience to all
5.The TV issue, we do offer remote in all rooms and when issue is raised we check with urgency
6.Kettle- the way you had packed and closed the cabinet,when the housekeeper was dusting the room and mopping,the kettle fell, she was boiling the water to confirm its in good working condition before reporting to the office that its spoilt. When she confirmed that was well, she went to pour the water in the opposite toilet as she was through with cleaning your room thus was on her way out.
As the Manager, i personally apologised to you for the kettle issue considering its the only one you had raised as an issue.
On your leaving day, we gave discount on late check up from the room free of charge and we didnt charge you anything considering you had a late flight.
In between your stay, you wanted to change hotels to Nairobi club when they got empty rooms for the tournament players,but unfortunately i personally told you not possible considering the means you had booked with us ...i.e via online .

病院近く治安◎
