Proche de l’aéroport, personnel peu arrangeant

L’hotel, ou plutôt Guest house, est propre, spacieux et bien localisé proche de l’aéroport, mais le comportement de la propriétaire m’a déçue. Mon vol décollant tard dans la journée, ils n’ont pas trouvé de solution pour me permettre d’attendre dans les partie communes de l’hotel. Ils m’ont seulement proposé, et d’une façon assez vulgaire, de payer une nuit supplémentaire. J’ai refusé pour des raisons financieres mais aussi par principe et j’ai dû passer la journée seule à l’aeroport. Cela est très surprenant, en particulier au Kenya où les gens sont tellement plein de sollicitude et gentils. Dommage.

Dear Laure, Thank you for staying with us, though the policies were very clear when booking, had you stayed whole day at the apartment we could not clean or give the room to another client , this was explained to you in a very good day . everywhere late check out is charged ,especially very long extension hours like you wanted to to. . ...

Terrible experience

We had a terrible overall stay at two different properties that the owner Lilian owned for 2 different nights. The first night was ok - we had complained about the bed being hard but overall it was what you pay for - after all it is guest house and not a hilton. So for the second night, she booked us in another room but this was full of mosquitoes and really dirty with the shower not working properly. Plus the second bathroom had a sink right in front of the toilet so I am not sure how one could use the sink since there was no space - really dumb. But then the next morning when we complained, the lady completely lost it. She locked the door from inside so we could not get out and threatened to call the police the on us saying that we will be in a nairobi jail for 6 months until the case is closed. We finally apologized and she let us go but I would not stay at this property even if she was offering it for free. I would normally just have given an meets expectations review based on price but due to the ladies treatment and the most harrowing experience we had , I felt it was my duty to warn others and hence the long post. Stay at your own risk..

Thank you for your review,But clearly other travellers can see you are the problem, let me start by that you did not want to pay hence the excuses , you wanted free breakfast , you left windows open even after we told you to close. All rooms have nets ,and every bath has a working sink. We have never hosted such troublesome guests like you , very drunk ,very disrespectful , wanting more for less pay . Genuine guests can read and see previous reviews from other travelers that were not troublesome like you. You broke even a toilet seat .
