The history of this mansion was impressive. The room at the top of the 36 stairs was cozy. Great bed and nice size closet. As my husband and I are 70ish we needed a second chair to be able to both be seated other than one of us having to hop up on bed to sit for awhile. The turntable and albums taking up valuable space was charming but did not work as I tried to play the Marley album. Thank you for the continental breakfast which started us nicely for the day for 4 mornings. The staff was over and above fantastic, answered all our questions about how to tackle the sights and how to get there. We loved our September 2024 visit.

The Jared Coffin House made for a great first visit to Nantucket. The facilities were quaint, clean and comfortable, and the location was walkable from the ferry, shops and restaurants. We’d definitely recommend it!
