Welcoming, beautifully decorated and appointed with nice amenities. Walkable to town and delicious restaurants. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

Great hospitality by the staff. Lots of little additions including beach bags, sunscreen, snacks and drinks that really went above and beyond to make you feel welcome!

Loved the Chapman House and it’s partner property The Regatta where you go for breakfast. Great that they provide towels, umbrellas and chairs for the beach. Fantastic location walkable to Nantucket restaurants, shops, Jetties Beach and the shuttle to Madaket.

Room needs work
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HotelsUpon arrival to our room there was a very strong odor. A chemical odor like cleaning chemical of some sort. They told us to open a window. The smell was burning our eyes. Smell did not go away. Called desk who sent someone to tell us that’s what they use to clean…then she didn’t smell it she said. No other rooms available. Offered us our money back and said we could check out but of course they knew there were no other rooms on island. Manager brought air purifier and said she did not know what it was and that was not what they clean with. Purifier made no difference. In the end we had to stay in room. No discounted rate or anything offered. Not even an apology. They almost had the attitude that we were the problem. Other things wrong in room: shower head broken and you could not raise above shoulder level. Deadbolt on door did not work. Refrigerator had been unplugged because it made a terrible noise. We had to walk down the street to breakfast as it was located in another property. Pretty disappointing for a $1,000 room.
