Superbe boutique hotel
Publié le 19 mai 2018 sur HotelsTres joli boutique hotel dans une ancienne maison de Napa. Tout était parfait! Une mention particulière pour le petit dejeuner où sont proposés des amuses bouche originaux et delicieux. les pancakes sont exceptionnels. La localisation est excellente à quelques minutes de marche du centre ville.

Boutique bed and breakfast in a historic building. Our only issue was a faulty bathroom door that did not close in room 14. Overall a lovely experience.

The house was beautiful and nicely decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable.

We loved it at the White House. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is on top of everything. It’s also only a few minute walk to downtown Napa.

The website misrepresents the Queen bed rooms. We were in the1st floor #4 Queen room which was dark, shabby, small and over looking the parking lot. It was also next to the kitchen and restaurant so very very noisy. The Queen bed was squashed up against a wall which made it very hard to get in and out of bed.
Also, the hotel uses a software application to manage check in/out. Just before our trip I received an automated message asking if I wanted to upgrade to a bigger room and I said yes to a King, but then they “denied my request”. Grrrrrr…! Then I got a second message asking if I wanted to upgrade and this time I said yes to a king deluxe which they approved. Yay! When I got to the hotel though they said - whoopsie .. we made a mistake. Double grrrrrrrrr!!! It was all very disappointing really for the price.

Terri, thank you for sharing your feedback. It is disappointing to hear that you were not satisfied with your room and had an issue with the room upgrade process. The hotel strives to provide accurate information and smooth check-in experiences, and this feedback will be shared to improve future stays. Your comments about the room and noise considerations have been noted and while it is true the bed was on the smaller side, your bathroom was very large and luxurious looking. The Hotel was fully sold out for the weekend and while w wanted to be able to accomodate an upgrade on your room reservation, we were unbale to due to occupancy. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, we do hope we can host you again in the future.
