I liked the estuary views and the easy access to the Napier/Hastings freeway.
I didn't like the heavy footsteps along the balcony front, it was quite noisy.

It was a nice place to stay. The reception staff was nice. There is a nice walking track close by.

The room was dark and dingey, and as it was situated next to the stairs on the lower level, you could hear all noise from the pool as well as the foot traffic on the stairwell and rooms above. The road noise is also pretty loud from around 5am.
We stayed 3 nights, and our room was not cleaned or serviced during our stay except for fresh towels, bin emptied, and a top up of coffee sachets. The beds weren’t made, and dishes weren’t done.
It was a little cold for us to use the pool, but the spa was filthy so after an initial 5min warm up we opted not to use this again.
Overall our stay was really disappointing for the cost. I expected more for $200 a night.
The only highlight was the stand-in manager, who was very amiable and lovely to chat with.
I would not recommend staying here.

Very clean and tidy. Lovely pool and spa on a hot day, towells provided. Easy walk into town for a vast array of eateries.

Clean and well maintained. Close to the north end of Napier. Real easy access to the highway.

Booked through Expedia online and paid through Debit card online before arrival.
Upon arrival was told we needed a Credit card (was not stated online)
Another customer before was told the same thing but was let off with his debit card as he told them he did not have a credit card on him (he was very polite and acknowledged us)
As we went to check in we were told we cannot use our debit card and that we will need to pay a bond of 300 to stay (also was not mentioned on the online site) the lady ended up giving us a key and we went to our rooms only to have her knock on the door 5 mins later telling us we cannot stay and giving our money back and were told to leave.
Other than that the room was beautiful unfortunately we could not experience the full stay.

Staff very helpful. Website did not make it clear that our studio unit kitchenette did not have a cooking hob; it had only a microwave. The managers had electric frypans available and this met our need. Bathroom floor very slippery and no handrail in shower. Antislip mat provided on request. Great location near the estuary and beach and a short drive to CBD.
