Our 100 year old cottage on Ahuriri's foreshore, has been modernised within and styled to match it's seaside position while keeping it's historical face and feel.
Comfortable and cosy, with french doors opening to the sea view with Spriggs Park playground, rock pools and beach directly in front.
Enjoy the seaside village atmosphere as the yatch racing, watersports and cruise ship coming and going happens in your front yard and the waterfront cycleway passes by.
All the facilities of a fully equipped house in a cottage sized package, with fenced back yard, for your use during your stay in Napier.
Just a couple of minutes stroll to the 6 restaurants and many cafes and takeaway options available in the Ahuriri Village, along with Cinema and specialty shops or 5 mins drive to the waterfront bars on the edge of the marina.
Napier CBD is a five minute drive away or catch the bus directly across the road.

Lovely location
Jane is a wonderful host with fantastic communication. The location is right across from the water & in the morning, I could walk 2 minutes, grab a coffee and enjoy a walk during sunrise. Very cute property. I’d like to suggest that it would be good if someone aired out the property really well on the day of arrival.

Home away from home
The cutest cottage! Clean & Comfortable. A beautiful outlook to the beach and a short stroll to cafes, restaurants and the Globe Theaterette. The couch and bed were so comfortable. The sun streamed into the lounge in the afternoon, even in the middle of winter! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I can't wait to go back! Thanks so much Jane.

Just Wonderful!
I felt so relaxed, and very much at home. The Bach was lovely and clean. It was in such a great location, looking out of the Ocean or Sea. I would like to stay again sometime in the future. I would definitely recommend this Bach to others. Thank you for allowing me to stay.

Cottage in guter Lage
Das Cottage liegt direkt an einer Küstenstraße an einem belebten Sandstrand, nachts ist es jedoch ruhig. Es ist sehr geräumig und hell, allerdings als komfortabel würden wir die Einrichtung absolut nicht bezeichnen. Der Herd und die Toilette sind dringend ersatzbedürftig, gebrochenes Fensterglas im Schlafzimmer, zerrissene Gardine, die Schränke müssten dringend wieder einmal ausgewaschen werden. Das Higlight ist der Esstisch, ein Maler- oder Schreinertisch? der so instabil ist, dass er schon beim Brot schneiden bedenklich wackelt. Wo soll der umzäunte Garten sein ? Wie schon beschrieben, liegt das Häuschen direkt an der Straße, es gibt auf der Rückseite einen nicht benutzbaren Hinterhof. Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht mehr buchen.

Great Location
Great location. Short drive to downtown Napier and easy walk to restaurants, cafes, shops and pretty walks in Ahuriri. Cottage was well equipped and it was great having a washing machine. Street parking was good. Across the road from beach and playground. Good contact with host. Only negative was wifi was not very good which was a bit of a nuisance as we were trying to plan our trip.
