Imagine being in this Top Floor Unit directly on the ocean, as you enjoy your meals & those spectacular complimentary sunsets from the lanai. Nestled 10-15 minutes north of Lahaina, near Kanaapali and Kapalua, this is an optimal location to enjoy all West Maui has to offer....tennis, golf, snorkeling, beach walks, shopping or just kick back and take in some of that well deserved relaxation!

We remodeled in 2018 and enjoyed putting our personal touches on our studio condo which I have nicknamed "Happy-Lani" (Lani means Heaven in Hawaiian). We hope you will love it as much as we do and hope it is worthy of your attention!

Enjoy some spectacular whale watching from your Lanai on Maui (Dec 15 - Apr 15) We are literally only 25 feet away from the ocean!

Our studio condo has 2 flights of stairs (no elevator) but is well worth the walk up to your private and secluded island "home" in paradise. The Pohailani complex offers an oceanfront BBQ/Picnic area and use of the 2 pools and tennis court across the street.

Great location!
My wife and I came here for our honeymoon! It was a fantastic and relaxing place close to food and other resorts. Absolutely fantastic trip and we loved watching the turtles swim right outside our balcony!

The room was excellent. Wonderful beaches nearby. Highly recommended. One minor negative... The pool/laundry key doesn't open the laundry across the street. I notified ownership, but didn’t receive a response. Really, a minor issue.

Relaxing Stay!
We had a great week at this condo. Check in and out was easy and the place was very clean. It was very quiet as we didn't hear any neighbor or road noise. I add my voice to the other reviews that the location was amazing. We absolutely loved watching the many whales in the distance from the balcony and even loved using the binoculars that were in the dresser drawer. We ended up wanting a beach chair and since it was the same price to rent one as to buy one, we bought one and left it in the closet. Because we were there for 6 days, the only thing I would wish for was another set of bath towels to have fresh ones after a few days. Other than that, the accommodations were perfect!

Happy Place
Love visiting Maui Hawaii and enjoyed our condo and to die for views!!! Best selling point was the Lanai and being 20’ from ocean. No beach but the nearest is just a block away. Very comfortable bed and ceiling fans were all we needed to stay cool.

We really enjoyed our stay in this quaint condo in Maui. We especially loved watching the turtles as they splashed around the sea wall right outside our balcony. Accommodations were modest but exactly what we needed for our visit to this beautiful island. Our hearts felt for all those that lost their homes in Lahaina. We know they will come back Maui strong. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

Fantastic Location. Exactly What We Wanted!
Incredible views. Sea turtles by the shore everyday. Beautiful sunsets. Great location. Well worth the price. Next time we are in Maui, we will stay here again! Property exactly as described. Had nice simple touches like games to play, binoculars, shampoo, guest book with info…. All of these little things can make a big difference. Can’t wait to come back!

Aloha Paradise
The room was perfect for the two of us and very comfortable. Nicely decorated with large pieces of furniture allowing lots of storage space. The location was perfect and within walking distance to stores and beaches. It was especially nice being on the oceanfront enjoying the beautiful views and listening to the sound of the waves. I do think however for the daily amount charged, guests shouldn’t be asked to do dishes and empty trash before leaving and should be included in the cleaning service/cost. Providing beach chairs would have been nice touch too.

Perfect Place.
First I'll start off by saying this studio was just amazing. It was super clean, had everything we needed, and the check in and out was super easy. The view from the balcony was priceless, with beautiful sunsets and spotting turtles every day. For my wife and I the location was perfect, nice, and quite, and not being in a touristy hot spot but within a quick drive to popular areas. If you are considering staying here but have some hesitations, don't hesitate and just stay here it is totally worth it!! Thank you again for letting us stay in this wonderful place!!

Breathtaking Views
Stayed 5 nights and was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. We watched turtles and whales from the comfort of the lanai. Bed was comfortable, ac was a bonus even though we only used it once for a short time, Everything you could need in the kitchen for cooking full meals. Location was perfect. We loved this place and highly recommend it to others!

Fantastic place
My wife and I found this place to be very clean and well maintained. The apartment is equipped with updated Features like a full kitchen, high-end bathroom, huge tv, overhead fans everywhere, and an outstanding view of the sunset over the ocean. We saw sea turtles outside from the balcony every day. The balcony was private and just a perfect view to have breakfast and watch the waves. The king size bed was very very comfy…made a HUGE difference in getting adequate rest. The AC is more than powerful enough to create a very cozy climate…no problems with that. My only 1 wish is that the AC unit was a bit quieter as it’s hard to hear the ocean when it’s on because it’s a wall/window unit in the balcony wall. We just turned it off during sunset watching so we could hear the waves. The beach we found is called Secret Beach and is about a 4 minute walk north…which isn’t a problem…I just assumed the property was on the beach because it said “public beach access” . Secret Beach was quaint and more than fine for our relaxing times. The property grounds are well maintained. There is a gas grill on the lower level which was useful. A 6 minute walk in the other direction is a general store with decent grocery options, Coffee shop, McD’s, and Maui Brewing Co. Bottom line: we LOVED IT!

Fantastic vacation getaway
Great location, minimal traffic. Very quiet and peaceful. The only sound we really ever heard was the ocean. The whales were very active during our stay. Out of the way from the majority of tourists, within walking distance to Maui Brewing. We definitely enjoyed our visit.

Peaceful and quiet
This property is peaceful and quiet. Easy access to everything. Has everything you need including a small cooler and beach chairs/towels. Pool not conveniently located. Laundry across street as well. If you have any health problems and require air-conditioning I would NOT rent this place. It was absolutely an issue. The box air conditioner in the wall does not keep up at all. My husband cleaned out the packed filter in it and it was better but still could not in anyway keep up. It also heats up the balcony intolerably. The unit is fairly clean about as high as the maid could reach. After about 5 feet high the walls especially in the bathroom were absolutely coated with?? Dirt. The shower is nice and the pics don’t do it justice. The dirty throw pillows should just be tossed out as they are just in the way. Great kitchen. Very firm bed if that’s your thing. The turtles come right up to the wall and the view can’t be beat!! So beautiful. Small beach right next to unit was quaint. Better beaches to drive to. All in all- with a new cleaning service and mini split a/c—- this place would be AMAZING!!! Also- full of scented products if you’re sensitive...

Really great place to stay. Location was amazing. View was great. Condo is not a luxury hotel and is a bit dated but has everything you need and is nicer than some of the other condos in the area. The sun sets right in front of your balcony and convenience stores/coffee shop/brewery are within walking distance.

Absolutely stunning, inside and out!
Being former owners of an oceanfront unit at Pohailani, we already knew all about the view and how fabulous this spot is. We owned a place on the 1st floor, and my parents had one on the 2nd floor, both in the two-story building. The view from the 3rd floor is pretty awesome, and the renovations that have been done are just gorgeous! We seriously wanted to take that incredible shower home with us! Rebecca was quick to respond to any questions, and that’s always appreciated. Thanks for a fabulous stay in your little piece of paradise by the sea. My heart is always here, and we’ll be back soon! ❤️

Amazing views and cozy accommodations
This condo has some of the best views, especially during whale season. You can see the whale spouts and sometimes the whales playing around in the morning while you have your coffee. You can also see turtles everyday just behind the small sea wall in front of the patio. There are some very awesome beaches close by and the sunsets are unbeatable.

Breathtaking Vacation in Kahana Maui
This studio apartment on the 3rd floor was perfect. The views of the ocean are stunning! Sitting on the lanai was so relaxing. The suite has all you need to enjoy your stay in Maui. Beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, and tons of dishes. Full Kitchen which we used most of the time. A king bed in front area where you can hear the ocean all night long. Although there is air conditioning we enjoyed the many overhead ceiling fans the owner has installed in the apartment. Kahana Beach is great and you are located to many other wonderful beaches in the North of Maui. Mahallo we will be back for sure. The Boons, Alberta, Canada

Beautiful spot right on the water, as advertised!
We had a great time staying here. For once, the view from the unit matched the picture! It was great having a private space outside, and the air-conditioning was awesome as it was pretty hot the week we were there. Definitely would recommend/stay again.
