Wow, what an amazing time we had at this property. If you are looking for a traditional Italian neighborhood experience, this is the place. My third generation Italian-American children loved it (25 and 29) as well as I did. laundry hanging from every apartment, the yells of joy after Napoli scored a goal, and the friendliest of the local merchants, just fabulous. The apartment is well appointed and everyone was extremely comfortable. The only drawback is you better be comfortable using Google maps to walk around because of all the steps mixed in with walkways/roadways.

Absolutely loved our trip to Napoli and our cozy apartment in the Spanish Quarter. Large comfortable apartment with windows facing the street. The apaetment was well stocked with cooking pans, mokas, panino grill, plates, etc. Chiara was a great hostess and all directions for checkin were clear and easy. She included photos of the keys which made for easy access through the security dooors and apartment door. Great location with easy access to various neighbors and attractions. We found the apartment to be quiet and user friendly. Our neighbors were friendly and welcoming. There is a small neighborhood store right near the apartment if you need something. I would highly recommend this apartment. Thank you, Chiara.

Apartment was nice and clean like pictures, had a nice stay here. Chiara was very responsive and helped us find apartment via whats app since cab couldn't enter streets due to narrow streets, fyi, we were kinda lost during check in, couldn't really communicate with cab driver, neighbors were friendly trying to help us out, but make sure you can communicate address, street names and addresses are kinda hidden, put on your walking shoes, apartment is up a hill to get to, but had a great time, port to Cabri and islands is about 15 minute walk, close to port and mt vesuvius and Pompeii arent to far, great location! Thanks Chiara!

The property is very nice inside and our host was easily available for any questions. However, the area is very busy and it was difficult to maneuver the streets. The scooters and traffic left very little room to maneuver and taxi’s were not available there.

Stay in Spanish Quarter of Naples

The property was very nice. It was ver clean, spacious and had all the amenities that were advertised. Our only issue was that it was very difficult to find with all the alleys and the area did not feel so safe. The proximity to other things was nice but the apartment was hidden in alleys that we’re not very comfortable for us.

2025 - Naples/Spanish Quarter Adventure

If you want to be in the heart of the Naples, this is the PERFECT location. We loved the maze of streets, being close to the metro/port, and near many attractions that make Naples such an amazing city. Some things that I wish I knew beforehand... taxis can not get to the actual VRBO location because the streets are too narrow, use the metro which can be found on Toledo (a couple of blocks down from the apartment), make sure you have Euros to pay a travel tax (about 4/5 Euros per day of stay), and if you come in at night, don't freak out! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay in this fun apartment in the heart of the Spanish Quarter!

Immersed Naples experience

Great stay, wonderful place truly in the heart of the Spanish Quarter. Fun and easy access to food and drinks. Chiara was helpful and made it easy to check in and out. She warned us well in advance of the scaffolding surrounding the building, not a big deal. The work on the facade looks like it’s going to be lovely! The location is a little hard to find initially, but worth it!

Tucked away property by Toledo

We stayed in this property for 4 nights. There was construction going on outside, but that didn't bother us. The hostess was super friendly and helpful.We didn't have an issue with the property.It might not be suitable if you are not able to walk, as there are stairs to climb, and it's hard to access by taxi.I love Napoli!

Excellent!

The apartment was as advertised. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and located right in the centre of the Spanish Quarter, a very lively area. It was a pleasure to experience the daily lives of the residents. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and you don't have to travel far for an excellent meal. Via Toledo, the main street of Naples, is very close and all sights are within walking distance. I would highly, highly recommend this location. Staying in the Spanish Quarter was the highlight of our trip. Our hostess, Chiara, was a pleasure to deal with. We did not meet with her, but all of our communications were dealt with in a timely manner and she was instrumental in arranging taxis for us.

Authentic Naples

Apartment is as advertised. Self check in instructions were easy to follow and apartment is relatively easy to find. Streets are all cobbled and neighbourhood is bustling so might not be for everyone but you get to see life in the heart of Naples. Host was very easy to communicate with and responsive.

Short stay in Naples

Wonderful apartment, very clean, well equipped and as described. We loved the neighbourhood and while it may not be for everyone, we felt it offered a window into the lives of the residents of Naples. We felt very safe and walked everywhere at all hours. The apartment is very central. There is construction work going on to the exterior of the building at the moment (May 2024) but it did not affect our enjoyment of the apartment. Chiara is a very good and communicative host. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Cora Cora Apartment of Chiara Calise

The rental procedure was easy. Chiara sent us great instructions along with pictures that made our entrance a breeze. The apartment was large, so clean and well portrayed on the VRBO site. We really appreciated the apartment was on the mezzanine level. It was everything we expected of our home away from home. It was nice for the 3 of us to have our own comfortable bed and 2 bathrooms was so good for us 3 females! The kitchen was well equiped too. My daughter enjoyed the gas stove and oven and wants one in her kitchen! There was excellent communication as we needed with Chiara. She made sure we were transfered from train to apartment and from apartment to airport with a private driver. We were amused by the Spanish Quarter neighborhood, a very unique experience and not for everyone I'd guess. The greeting we received from neighbour's was wonderful and they seemed to know we were for Chiara! People calling out boungiorno and waving to us on our balcony from theirs; well I think it helped to make us feel safe. We were able to get our bearings with maps in apartment also with Google Maps, somewhat, and find our way where we needed to go grocery store, Metro, bus etc. We have wonderful memories of Napoli!

Naples was a bit of a busy shock after the mellow Amalfi Coast but what a beautiful city! Wish we had more time there. We had a lot of trouble finding the place but once we got our bearings it was a great location. The streets around the apartment were a little crazy with motorcycles and scooters. Within a few more blocks were amazing restaurants and livelihood. The beds were soooo comfy. Lots of space in each bedroom. Bathrooms were clean and showers worked great. WiFi worked well. Contact with our host was great. She had a lot of tourist information in the apartment. She very helpfully arranged transportation for us to the airport. Great price for the size, cleanliness, and location.

Nice apartment, but Spanish quarters are not the best place to stay

A very nice spacious apartment with 4 bedrooms, very clean. Hosts are friendly, no problems communicating. This was my first time in Naples and will never go back to Spanish quarters. First, the street logistics with ups and downs, on-way streets and stairs is so complicated, that even not all taxi drivers at the airport do not want to go there. Calling a taxi is also a challenge - our taxis could not reach us, because 1 of the streets was blocked, and we had to to drag 6 suitcases dow the stairs to the nearby street. So next time, I will definitely refrain from staying in Spanish quarters.

Bonnes explications pour notre arrivĂ©e Ă  l'appartement et un bon contact avec Chiara qui a rĂ©pondu Ă  nos demandes : moyen de locomotion pour arrivĂ©e au logement,et Ă©change de bouilloire qui Ă©tait hors service .L'appartement est bien surtout pour le quartier espagnol . Par contre,Un peu déçu sur la 3eme chambre ,le lit est un peu petit pour un couple ,Ă  prĂ©ciser sur l'annonce .La propretĂ© du logement pourrait ĂȘtre amĂ©liorĂ© surtout salle de bain .Il faudrait rajouter en linge de maison un ou deux torchons pour la vaisselle. Nous avons passĂ© un bon sĂ©jour, idĂ©alement situĂ© pour visiter Naples proche du mĂ©tro et du port ,de la rue Toledo et du quartier espagnol trĂšs animĂ©s ,nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© les restaurants et les petits commerces de proximitĂ©. Tolle Lage

Die Wohnung liegt mitten im spanischen Viertel von Neapel und das macht einen Aufenthalt dort sehr besonders. Neapel ist an sich ist schon eine quirlige Stadt, das spanische Viertel ist aber vieles mehr. Man ist fußlĂ€ufig an allen wichtigen Stellen in der Stadt, die Wohnung ist groß und kann bis zu sechs Personen beherbergen. Es gibt ein grĂ¶ĂŸeres Bad mit Dusche, Toilette und Bidet und noch ein kleines, mit Dusche und Toilette. Die KĂŒche ist gleichzeitig das Wohn- und Esszimmer, hat einen kleinen Balkon, welcher zu unserer Zeit aber durch ein BaugerĂŒst versperrt war, welches das ganze Haus umspannte. Wir haben allerdings nie jemanden auf dem GerĂŒst zum Arbeiten gesehen. Der Hinterhof glich einer MĂŒllhalde, ein Supermarkt ist in 20m Entfernung.Wenn man im spanischen Viertel wohnt muss man wissen, dass der GerĂ€uschpegel insgesamt sehr hoch ist, aber das macht den Aufenthalt auch liebenswert. Die Vermieterin empfiehlt als Anreise ab dem Flughafen den Ali-Bus und die Metro, ein Taxi kostet allerdings auch nur 28,50 und war fĂŒr uns auf dem RĂŒckweg die bessere Wahl. An der Piazza Carolina standen immer genĂŒgend Taxis, Entfernung 600m. In den Gassen des spanischen Viertel fahren zwar auch Autos, das ist fĂŒr uns aber bis heute ein RĂ€tsel, weil alles sehr eng ist. Uns hat es super gut gefallen, auch wenn die Sauberkeit hĂ€tte besser sein können, wir wĂŒrden aber jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war jederzeit gegeben und sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank

Super Lage in der Altstadt. Klischee italienisch, wie man es sich frĂŒher vorgestellt hat. Die Wohnung ist modern und sauber, bis auf einige Wasserspuren im Bad. Außer mit Roller nur fußlĂ€ufig erreichbar.

Appartement spacieux et propre, joliment dĂ©corė. Bien Ă©quipė sauf pas assez de petites cuillėres et papier toilette... MAIS immeuble en cours de ravalement, donc on a vĂ©cu dans le noir et le bruit... et on a Ă©tĂ© prĂ©venus aprĂ©s avoir payė... Enfin, il faut savoir que ça grimpe pas mal pour y arriver. Sinon c'est trės bien situĂ© .

Grand appartement , trÚs propre , trÚs bien équipé ou rien ne manque situé dans un quartier bouillonnant de vie à toute heure. Pizzeria et trattoria à tous les coins de rue pour des expériences culinaires jamais décevantes.
