Ball tournament
Posted Nov. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property served our needs, no major concerns. Obviously we would have some minor recommendations but overall a nice property. I don’t think the pool or spa was active as it wasn’t cleaned or operable nor instruction so we felt maybe not working following the hurricane but we did not intend on using either much anyway. Overall would recommend the property.

Shady neighborhood, live cockroach in the kitchen cabinets day before leaving, furniture and beds uncomfortable, very humid in the house no matter what temp we kept it at. Very dark inside because all shades are closed and feels like a lock down. Lots of weird doors everywhere and the DW being outside is an inconvenience when loading and unloading. Would not stay here again. Disappointed, even for the amount of money paid.

VRBO would not return booking fee Roaches in the cabinet
Posted Feb. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe left after 2 nights out of 10 nights when we saw the roaches in the cabinet but VRBO would not return booking fee. They do not support the folks who are booking.
Cigarette butts and empty beer bottles at the pool
-Dirty floors
-leaking water on ping pong table
-AC didn't work
-Worst flow...the DW was outside...yup outside
The refrigerator was not in the kitchen either.

Great location
Posted Feb. 9, 2024 on HomeAwayVery cool house, very unique layout, awesome back patio and pool. check-in and out was super easy, was contacted by manager to make sure all was good. Will definitely stay here again if it is available next time I am in town.

Oasis by the Park
Posted Jan. 23, 2023 on HomeAwayThis charming property is located a short walk from the lovely Sugden Park which features sailing, swimming and beaching. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The house is also deceptively large, with FOUR bedrooms and THREE separate showers and bathrooms. But best of all is the secluded backyard with a lovely pool. It's a bit cold but wake up and warm up in the sun! Highly recommended!

Renters Beware
Posted Dec. 31, 2022 on HomeAwayFirst of all, I have never written a bad review. However, we had no heat or blankets and the property manager did not respond in a timely manner. We did not have heat for 3 days. They told us to turn the thermostat to HEAT. When the repair service arrived there was not a furnace at all. When we took showers the water did not get hot. We only had 5 bath towels and 1 wash cloth for 8 people. The bathroom door did not look and several lights did not work either. The dishwasher was outside and the ice and water did not work on the refrigerator. We did not have the proper kitchen utensil to cook with. The roll away bed was broke. One of the toilets leaked and the other did not flush. The property manager told us we needed to contact VRBO to fix these issues. We understand it was unusually cold, but they should have been prepared to have blankets for us. We had to go out and buy blankets. We were respectful and did not contact the property manager immediately since it was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was very disappointing as we have stayed in other rentals and had wonderful property managers that made sure we had everything we needed.

Hi Brenda, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
- We appreciate your feedback and we apologize the heat was not working on the week you were there as it happened to be the one week in a year, it got cold there.
- We will remove the broken roll away bed from the home but we do have another roll away bed that was stored next to it.
- We provide pots, pans, and utensils, as well as extra blankets in the property but we will be sure the House Manager double checks on those items before guests arrive.
- Rest assured that we will address and fix all the items you mentioned so the home can be fully prepared for our future guests.
