The property itself is simple but extremely charming, with a small kitchen combined into the dining room and a nook that just barely fits a bed. That’s perfect though, because the area around the property is the real draw. The room is a perfect base camp for excursions into the surrounding forests, mountains, parks, and historic temples. The bath room is a spacious japanese style combination laundry, bath, and washroom. It’s absolutely perfect for relaxing and refreshing after a long day of walking and hiking in the area! And the owners are absolutely sweet and charming. They’re very friendly and accommodating and really make the experience feel special

very nice host that explained the attractions around the area might not be the easiest getting to the property as it was on the hill but it was worth it for the views

A warm, welcoming experience. Wake up to Deer!

My only regret is that I didn’t get more time there. By no fault other than my own, i arrived 2 minutes before the young man at the front desk was leaving for the night. Rather than a typical response pointing out my inconvenience to him, I was greeted with a genuine smile and warm welcome. I was made to feel like my presence there mattered. He took the time to show me around, make change for me from the till he had already cashed out, then he went as far as to ask “if I had eaten anything or had any food with me. When I told him I had some snacks from the train he smiled and brought me to the kitchen to go through there selection of noodles and beer they offered. I can’t remember the last time I felt so good about being somewhere. He then took the time to show me the room, make sure it was acceptable to me, and even gave me a walk through on how to use the washer and air dryer above the shower. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The mattress was fantastic and I got a great night’s rest. I was greeted the next morning with deer at my doorstep. All around the entire experience was one of the highlights of my trip.

The property availability it not synchronized with Expedia data base, however, they offered suitable monetary compensation for the inconvience.
