Hôtel correct pour une nuit

Hôtel bien situé, face à l’océan. Accueil assez froid. Hôtel vieillot et une odeur désagréable partout dans l’hôtel. La chambre était spacieuse, la literie confortable

The property is in a great location if you love the beach. For what we paid off season, it was fine. If I had to pay full season price, I would have been disappointed in the overall quality- it just needs some updating and refreshing. The shower curtain rod was loose, a few dings in the walls in various spots, etc. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was quiet.

Do not expect a Hot shower

The location was perfect, the ladies at the front desk were unfriendly and short and to the point. My family and I spent our three days at The Town beach and one day in Block Island. When arriving late in the evening, back in our room to take showers, the water was luke warm to cool. All four of us were unable to remove sunscreen and sand from our bodies. The front desk said, that normally happens and there was nothing they could do. However, the beds were very comfortable and we all slept well.

Carpeting in room was dirty, elevator ready to die, inferred “restaurants “, had none. Windows in hallway left open with no screens or AC. Observation deck decaying and not maintained, pool and pool area so unappealing NO body was using the pool. Old and outdated, the only saving grace is the location. Help was nice enough but we got there at 2:05pm and were told check in was at 3:00pm. Kinda of rude. AC in room only worked if you used the giant hair clip provided to scrunch up the curtains so they didn’t block the airflow.This place could be so much better.

The cleaning crew is amazing. Rooms were clean and organized daily. Asked for an extra pillow first night/ they couldn’t find one. 2nd night- room had pregnant woman, mother and infant, and 71 yr old- all three of us in bed falling asleep and a knock on the door at 9:30. Two young workers- who asked for our last name- Said we weren’t supposed to be there- asked us to step out - had uniforms but no id - all three of us were skeptical and scared/nervous - one of us went down stairs to figure things out with Expedia proof we booked the room. Unsettled the rest of the night. Baby crying. Manager apologized- but just don’t know why knocks were at the door at 9:30 pm and no phone call To the room or my cell. Next day asked to talk to the manager twice. Both times she had stepped out. Talked once on her cell- offered free nights- but asked for money back instead for the last night. Promised she’d get back. Never did.after 2 weeks of calling/ manager said she’d call back in 20 minutes -‘literally promised and never called back. One member of our room said she was gonna call 911- because “staff” were unrelenting in asking us for our info - again- no ID or phone call- one of the workers had her purse on still- which didn’t seem right. You stay at a hotel to sleep and feel safe- both of which we weee unable to do the third night. Whole thing unprofessional- never happened in our life! Disappointed- as we’ve been loyal patrons but just don’t feel safe or valuable to manger
