The Sandbar House, a summer vacation home in Wesquage, Narragansett, overlooks Narragansett Bay and Bonnet Shores with a view of the island of Jamestown and historic Beavertail Lighthouse ( the first lighthouse to be built in Rhode Island). The sprawling front yard, with lots of room for play, is the only thing that lies between you and the beach sand. The back yard includes a private stone patio; a fully enclosed out door shower and changing room as well as a beautiful fish pond. Off the front of the house is a beautify deck that overlooks the beach and includes patio furniture and a gas grill. Swim, surf, kayak, fish, and build a castle in the sand! Play in tide pools and catch a crab or a starfish; walk the beach in the moonlight or gather seashells by day.
The first floor includes a TV Room with a 42” wall mounted TV with sleep sofa and love seat; a sun room, living room, full bathroom, laundry room, and the Sand Bar Lounge; a family bar that has existed since 1970.
The second floor has a large living room and dining room with windows across the front that look out over the ocean. There is also access to the screened in porch and front deck which delivers panoramic views of the ocean and beach. The living room includes a 42” of TV, wireless internet and cable TV. The second floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom & bath, and two guest bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with two sets of bunk beds. Both guest bedrooms share a full bathroom. Relax, and succumb to the charm of Wesquage.
