I have mixed feelings about the Embassy Suites. What I liked: we were able to check in an hour early (4pm check-in is absurd) and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good...what you expect from an Embassy Suites hotel. The not so good: we REALLY needed wifi and it wasn't working at all. When my husband went down to the front desk for help, they didn't apologize or offer any help at all which left us in a bind. We had a young child with us who wanted a bath but the bath wouldn't hold any water (kept draining). And they raved about the free happy hour but it was a pitiful display of cheese and crackers and goldfish. And I was annoyed that they charge $10 for parking. The hotel isn't in a city, it's the burbs...there is absolutely no need to charge for your car to be with you. This hotel also could use a cosmetic update -- it feels very 1990's. Overall not a bad stay but wouldn't be my first choice in the area.

First, they gave me an occupied room, went down to exchange the key. Second room smelled like mildew. Third room was fine. The hotel smelled like mildew but the second room was awful. To make up for the trouble they gave me a $50 voucher to the hotel’s restaurant.

The lighting in the rooms and bathroom were dim. For a wife or girlfriend to get ready was challenging. Had to take shades off of lamps to make it brighter.
