Avis Music City Estate ★ Large Private Backyard

Landscaping was overgrown and the steps to the door are dangerous with no rail. The steps are different heights which makes it difficult to climb. Definitely needs some fresh paint inside as there are big marks on the walls. We would not go in the basement for the w/d as it was wet and smelly. There was only one drinking glad for a 5 bedroom home. The refrigerator had no shelves on the door which made it difficult to put or stuff in any type of easy access. The wet basement kept the house humid and hot and thermostat was not changeable and my message by email was not answered. the path/steps to reach the door are

When we arrived at the property, we thought the house was abandoned because that’s just how overgrown the lawn and landscaping was. The trees on the side of the house were overtaking the entrance, and the grass was long. Upon walking into the house, there was a stale smell that gave the impression that the house had been closed up for a long time. This felt weird and made it feel as if no one had been in to clean in a while. We had to purchase air freshener and spray it around to get rid of the scent. The side porch was not usable as there were spider webs under the chairs and the screens were ripped. I also found it odd that the listing leaves out how close the house is to a major road which emergency vehicles can often be heard going up and down.

Nice property. It was in a good area close to stores & restaurants. Not too far from downtown. The beds are comfortabke & the house was spacious & clean for our stay. We enjoyed it.

The house worked out perfect and was ideal for everyone close to the courses we played so super easy to get around town

The beds were great and there was plenty of space to hang out, even with a large group. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Property owner communicated well and responded quickly. The only negative was that the grass was fairly long so we couldn't really use the back yard. It looked like it hadn't been cut for a while.

We were a group of 9 ladies in town for the weekend for a Bachelorette Weekend. Nothingntoo wild or crazy, because we're all old, lol. But we were spending most of our time out and about. So the house was perfect for what we were looking for! It has plenty of space and beds, as well as couches. We had bed space for everyone and didn't need to use the couches. The beds were comfy and the pillows were amazing! The owners put adorable Mr. & Mrs. Pillow covers on the pillows on the bed in the downstairs master bedroom. Super cute! ... Everything was pretty clean, the floors could have used a mop over, but it just looked like people were wearing shoes inside. Not a big deal to us. ...The WiFi password wasn't posted online or in the house, so we had to ask the owner's through the app. They got back to us first thing the next morning, so all good there. I'm sure they'll have it online from now on, so prob not an issue anymore. ... It's a cute remodel in an older neighborhood that is up and coming in East Nashville. They have a few spots that maintenance is still finishing up on on the walls. But the owners rest assured their maintenance would have them touched up soon. ...we didn't use the backyard, but it is huge and fenced in. ...Lots of cute restaurants near by, check em out! ...all and all, I would definitely suggest this house for a fun weekend or week with friends.

The images in the ad were amazing. However, upon arrival, we saw very quickly that the images did not match the property. The grass had not been mowed in quite some time. The screen door was ripped. The backyard looked like no one had cleaned it up from the last renters. The inside was not cleaned very well. There was a ton of dust under the couches (wooden floors), trash behind the dresser in one of the bedrooms, the toilets were dirty, the tabletop in the dining room was filthy, and the smoke alarm was sitting inside the front door with the batteries hanging out. The electricity was sketchy in the upstairs bedrooms. Unfortunately, on the last night, we even saw cockroaches.
