Similarly, when you mentioned a damaged umbrella, we promptly replaced it with two new large beach umbrellas. It is worth noting that the one day you were without an umbrella, the winds exceeded 25 MPH, making it impossible to use one safely. We do not advertise a heated outdoor shower; its purpose is to rinse off sand and saltwater. Your complaint about not having pH testing strips for the hot tub could have been resolved with a simple request during your stay. Our hot tub is professionally serviced by a leading pool company on the island, and we have never received such a request before. Contrary to your statement, you mentioned in writing that you “also have a rental property but not as nice as yours,” which does not suggest any dissatisfaction. Most importantly, you never mentioned theft or missing items during your stay. Your request for a $6,000 refund due to the outdoor shower, blender, and water testing kits, accompanied by a threat to leave a negative review, appears to be an attempt at blackmail. We take great pride in offering exceptional value with extensive daily housekeeping services that are typically found in properties costing five to ten times more. The other base should be by the beach. Please make sure you close them when you are done using them otherwise the wind will brake them.”
