Disappointing Service Would not recommend
Publié le 18 janv. 2021 sur HomeAwayI would not recommend this rental to any.. Firstly checking in is not until 3:00pm. So your're basically paying for a full day but only gets 9 hours. Secondly the manager said due to dèlay with maid service I wasn't able to check in until 3:30pm. Third if you are traveling with other family memebers or have family or friends in New Providence the can not step foot on the property to visit you which doesn't make sense. Forth the air condition unit goes with a switch so if you get to cold you can not adjust the temperature you have to just switch it off. If it's to hot turn on the fan. Last the manger attititude is horrble not customer service savy at all. Parking is limited the area was quiet but looks spooky and ghetto. That's why there is no picture up of the outside I the building. The inside is nice but not worth it..

Regarding check in time, 3pm is the normal check in time for most hotel and rentals, it gives the maid enough time to to get the room ready for your arrival along as helps just in case there was a late check out. In this situation, there was a late check out which caused a slight delay of 30 minutes for the check in process. We informed you apologized for the 30 minute late check in experience.
Secondly, For security purposes only you and the registered guest are allowed on the property, no visitors and extra guest are allowed. This should have been stated on the house rules, if it was not listed I will make sure to put this information there now for future guest.
Thirdly, the air condition is controlled by on/off switch, most guest are comfortable with the temperature settings and if it’s too cold they can just turn the switch off (like in your case). We have had issues in the past where remotes would go missing and/or the guest was turning on the heater instead of the air compressor so installing a on/off switch eliminates guest having to fumble around with the settings.
Fourth, don’t know how the managers attitude was horrible, I read the script between you and the manager and it looks like the person followed all necessary protocols to handle complaints from a guest. From there response to you about the late check in process, to the answer about the adjustment to the AC unit temperature and also from the “friendly” reminder about the 3pm check out time. It all seemed textbook and customer friendly, however your responses was snapped back with, curse words and frustration.
Lastly, This is a working class Bahamian neighborhood, don't expect lavish landscape or million dollar homes. Our neighbors consist of a Royal Bahamas Defense force officer on the western side of property named Troy, a phone card and fruit seller named "Rasta" adjacent to the property in a wooden home, a Police Sargent located on the east side of property named "Q" and a welder directly behind the house named "John". If this information was not on the listing before I will submit it.
Thanks for the compliment on how nice the place looks in the inside, at least you like the style. All in all, you can’t make all guest happy on these platforms.
Good luck in your future travels and maybe hotels are better suited for your stays.

The Room was immaculate. 5 star hotel quality. Everything you would need was readily available. Spacious and updated room and bathroom.
