We booked and pre-paid for our rooms. Upon arrival, the receptionist was first not aware of our booking, but could then find the booking and payment confirmation e-mail from Expedia.com. However, they claimed that they hadn't received the money from Expedia, and thought it was *our* responsibility to make sure that Expedia pays the property, and they refused to check us in and show us our rooms. Expedia staff tried to be helpful and explained how the manager can initiate the funds transfer, but they still refused to show us our rooms. In the end, Expedia refunded us, and we went to a different guest house.
