Beautiful, comfortable home
House was very clean and comfortable. Cane River runs behind it and area was peaceful and beautiful. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s in the past and this was our favorite. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Snack basket and waters were very nice touches. Communication with owners was quick and easy. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others.

Little Getaway

Awesome Girls Trip
Had a great trip to Natchitoches for our girls weekend. We debated staying in town versus on the river and we’re glad we stayed on the river. The place was beautiful, comfortable and perfect for our trip. We enjoyed the outside area each night, even though it was too hot to use the fire pit. Next time we stay here we’ll make sure it’s cool enough for that! :)

Beautiful peaceful getaway. Property was amazing. Had a little trouble finding at night can use a little more lighting in the front at night. Every thing was easily accessible.You can just bring yourself everything right at your hands

Charming Cane River Home
Beautiful patio and view of Cane River and Christmas lights in a quiet neighborhood with big back yard and beautiful trees. Plenty of room to cook, gather and enjoy time with family and friends around the fire pit. Will definitely return!

Amazing Hospitalality. We used this listing as part of a Veterans Retreat and Fishing Weekend. We couldnt asked for a better place and working with the host throughout the stay was abreeze..Definitely Recommend..

Perfect waterfront getaway for family gathering
We rented for a small family reunion where we wanted to be able to enjoy a quiet gathering in a beautiful setting. This one was great. The house was everything we expected and the patio and view of cane lake was beautiful. The owner added his own touch with snacks, coffee pods, shampoo, dishwasher and laundry detergent and other stuff. Plenty of bath linens for a 3 night stay for 6 people. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything and would stay again.

Such a precious house. Uniquely decorated and so livable. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed the outdoor space as much as inside. Quiet area.

Christmas Lights and More
The house was beautifully done with Christmas decorations and even a precious Christmas tree. Everything was super clean, beds were very comfortable, and everything was great! There was even a thoughtful snack bowl waiting for us! Steve was great to work with before our stay and even throughout our stay. The lights and fireworks were spectacular….the whole town was like visiting a Hallmark movie. I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend this house. Thank you for your hospitality!

Cozy, comfortable and easy access to town
This rental is great. We booked because we wanted to go to see the Festival of Lights. It is very well stocked with pots, pans, glasses, plates, towels, blankets, etc. It was very clean, has a great outdoor space, small wharf for fishing or tiring by the water side and good parking. I could go on and on with all positive comments. We will be repeat renters.

Fantastic Property!

The house was exactly what we needed and more for our couples trip. It was clean and the hosts left helpful notes and tips around the house. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions and seemed to be very accessible if needed. But we didn't have a single issue. Overall all, we had a wonderful stay. Christmas vacation
We had a wonderful time! The lake house was convenient to everything. The Christmas tree was an added plus. However it would have been nice to have strung a few Christmas lights on the beautiful patio. Our overall stay was excellent .
